Your Qualifications:
- Successful completion of entrance exam.

The Solar Pile Shift Lead Operator is responsible for providing efficient and good solar pile products with short lead times and minimal downtime to the SPM operations. This position Shift Lead oversees solar pile production processes with minimal supervision. This position will be a Shift Lead Operator in a highly automated process line with the ability to produce over 100,000 tons of solar pile yearly.
Prinicpal Accountabiities:
Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner.

Job Summary:
Maintain plant HVAC systems in all areas of as directed by the Maintenance Routine Facilitator. Supervise the record keeping, various contractors, and the inventory of parts on site for service. Maintain HVAC equipment inside and outside all buildings. Coordinate unit replacements according to dates set forth by the EPA. Maintain service and maintenance activities in plant maintenance software.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain, repair, and troubleshoot HVAC equipment associated with cranes, mobile equipment, MCC rooms, and comfort areas in the plant.
- Visually inspect and diagnose the cause of equipment malfunctions.
- Perform welding repair, fabrication, pipefitting, and brazing on various metals.
- Perform data entry into SAP (work order data base system).
- Maintain equipment history.
- Recover and dispose of all refrigerant gases, and properly maintain accurate records of those activities.

Your Purpose:

Plant Operations:
The Regional Energy Manager (REM) supplies energy for several mills within a broad geographical region and serves as a resource for plant management for energy forecasts, communication, and collaboration regarding commercial aspects of energy supply. The successful candidate will:

Your Purpose:

Your Purpose:

Your Work:

Job Summary:
Reporting to the Roll Shop Supervisor, this position's main focus will be to set up and operate a computer numerically controlled lathe to machine all types of new and used rolls to finished size and contour for all sections rolled in the Mill.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plans working procedures from instructions, prints, computer programs, and work orders
- Slings rolls and places them in a lathe using a crane
- Centers and fastens roll in the lathe
- Barrels new rolls
- Selects and profiles cutting tools for the job in accordance with hardness, machinability, desired contour, and surface of the roll to be turned and set up in the tool holder
- Sets up and operates CNC lathe to turn any type of roll to finished size within close tolerances
- Selects and adjusts speeds and feeds for material to be cut
- Turns rolls to specifications and intermittently checks dimensions for compliance using a protractor, calipers, micrometers, rulers, straights edge, pass templates, and thickness gauges.
- Observes turning of roll, interrupts upon deviation from specifications, and corrects minor errors in a computer program by manually overriding computer
- Operates lathe manually to complete finishing of the roll such as taking out points, blending radii, and using plugs
- Operates milling machine to cut deformations in rolls
- Operates electric discharge machine (EDM) to brand rolls
- Inspects and lubricate equipment

Job Summary:

You Have:

Your Purpose

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Coordinate plant construction activities as required for installation of new plant equipment or modification to existing equipment. The construction coordination may involve maintenance personnel, production personnel, and/or outside contractors. The Project Engineer will coordinate meetings as needed with the personnel who requested or will be affected by the new or modified equipment. Before the installation or modification of the equipment the Project Engineer may request quotations, develop installation schedules, and assist with fabrication details. This position must also ensure that the maintenance or construction personnel have accurate reference materials to install all equipment conduit, wiring, control desks, MCC’s switch gears, etc. required for a successful electrical outage.
The major challenge of this position is to ensure that equipment purchases and designs are durable, economical, and easy to fabricate and install. Installation or modification of equipment is to be accomplished with the minimum amount of outage duration and be on or below the approved budget.
The Project Engineer job functions may involve high and low-voltage distribution systems and equipment, AC & DC drive systems, instrumentation and control, programmable logic and computer control, and electrical machinery. Within these areas, work may include design specification, purchasing, supervision of construction and installation, commission, and troubleshooting of new or modified equipment.
Assist the Environmental Engineer, Sr. Project Engineer, and or Engineering Manager with miscellaneous environmental and engineering activities.
Some work items may require the services of outside engineering consultants. In this case, this position will be involved in establishing design objectives, prepare engineering bid specifications, and competitively bid the work. After receiving approval to perform the work the engineer will coordinate and monitor activities of the consultant to ensure equipment compatibility with the departments which will operate and maintain the new equipment.
Maintain equipment files and resource materials such as drawings, instruction manuals, test data, design criteria, and specifications. These materials are to be organized to facilitate their use for three key purposes: as a maintenance aid, as a basis for equipment performance evaluation, and as a reference for new design and installation. These resources are to be made available to maintenance personnel to maximize their value in troubleshooting, operations, and preventive maintenance.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 5-6 years’ experience working in an industrial/manufacturing/construction environment
- Experience with Allen Bradley control systems
- Experience with WonderWare systems preferred

Your Purpose:

Asset Reliability Process (ARP) Planner will provide coordination, direction and support for implementing and sustaining Asset Reliability Processes (ARP) to improve safety, equipment reliability, and product quality at optimum efficiency and costs by:
Planning proactive maintenance including preventive, predictive, corrective maintenance, and project work.
Managing non-emergency work and planned work backlog.
Developing procedures to improve safety, lower costs, and optimize resources through the use of the Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
Scheduling proactive maintenance work using a formal, systematic, and analytical approach.
Participating in the development of Annual Action Plans.
Training maintenance and operation personnel.
Conducting routine safety and maintenance activities including audits, maintenance task evaluations, employee contacts, and visibility tours as assigned.
Ensuring that safety rules and requirements are being followed in all work areas.
Maintaining compliance with visual management standards.
Dimensions:
This position serves in an advisory capacity to support and coordinate the ARP maintenance management for scheduled and project maintenance to improve equipment reliability. This position does not have direct reports, but will facilitate down-days and outages by establishing planned work with operations, maintenance, reliability, and engineering. The ARP Planner coordinates the work execution on down-days and outage to ensure planned work complinance and quality. This position has direct responsibility for planning and scheduling proactive maintenance and project work on all equipment at their assigned location(s).
Nature and Scope
:
This position is primarily responsible for planning and coordinating proactive maintenance activities on equipment, with involvement in projects and maintenance activities that will improve the reliability of the equipment. The ARP Planner will develop job plans for all planned maintenance, predictive and preventive technologies, in conjunction with reliability technicians, reliability engineers, mill operations, maintenance personnel and suppliers.
The incumbent will provide technical assistance and maintenance expertise to assigned location(s). This position will maximize the equipment reliability using a systematic approach to plan and schedule maintenance work. The ARP Planner will facilitate weekly planning, down-days, and outage meetings. Due to the nature of manufacturing operations, the incumbent is required to work on regularly scheduled shutdowns and must be available for specific operations or projects. Some travel may be required for training to support projects.
Qualifications for this position include a two-year degree -OR- advanced technical training with at least 5 years experience with a high level of mastery discipline. The incumbent must have a mastery level knowledge of heavy manufacturing or other related maintenance engineering activities. The successful candidate will possess an extensive working knowledge of maintenance concepts and techniques with demonstrated expertise in asset reliability technology and systems. The ARP Planner will be responsible for staying abreast of current technology and recommending changes to effect continual improvement of asset reliability and manufacturing processes.
The ARP Planner reports to a Reliability Engineer IV or Reliability Engineer V. The incumbent will work closely with operations and maintenance departments. This position will be responsible for building detailed job plans, ordering parts and services for planned work, preparing work packages, managing the backlog for planned work, and ensuring proper data management. This position is responsible for any modification to the preventive and predictive maintenance programs that might reduce maintenance cost and downtime. The ARP Planner must demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills, have the ability to work independently or in a team environment, perform and prioritize a variety of tasks with minimal supervision, and have a broad knowledge of computer software applications.
An ARP Planner will participate and assist with training programs for the maintenance and operations personnel regarding equipment care, new operating equipment, software, methodologies, and procedures. Due to close contact with operations, maintenance, engineering, and outside contractors and vendors, this position requires the ability to effectively communicate with associates at all levels outside and within the organization. The ARP Planner must manage the interests of all parties in creating and modifying work procedures and equipment. This position will also be required to manage other projects or duties as assigned.
The ARP Planner must perform the above mentioned duties and responsibilities in accordance with all Federal, State, Provincial, and Local environmental regulations, as well as company policies and procedures. Employees must also report any situation that may have a detrimental impact to human health or the environment to their immediate supervisor.
Principal Accountabilities

Coordinate and manage work order backlog for area of responsibility.
Facilitate Down Day and Outage planning meetings.
Develop maintenance plans and schedule approved non-emergency based work plans.
Monitor and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to support ARP assessment and improvements.
Participate in all major failure incident investigations within area of responsibility.
Prepare, plan, and provide work packages for maintenance activities during down days and major plant outages.
Develop and maintain optimal inventory plans and assist with inventory management for equipment and critical spare parts using Reliability Centered Maintenance methodologies.
Train personnel on equipment care, modifications, renovations, installations, additions, and replacements of facilities and equipment.
Participate in all safety programs to help reduce accidents throughout the plant.
Ensure timely completion of preventive maintenance and predictive work orders within specifications, and compliance with appropriate rules and regulations.
Audit non-emergency work orders for proper data management, as well as develop inspection procedures for major repaired equipment when returned to the plant.
Interface between maintenance and engineering on all new capital expenditures, and assist in the development of equipment specifications to ensure that predictive and preventive maintenance tools can be implemented effectively.
Update CMMS for new equipment and equipment changes, work plans, job plans, preventive maintenance and predictive maintenance.
Generate CMMS reports that are utilized in all aspects of managing proactive maintenance.

Job Summary:
The laborer is an entry level position, reflecting employees with no previous knowledge or experience related to scrap metals and recycling. The laborer must have the ability to learn and a strong work ethic. The laborer will assist in several aspects of daily operations such as scrap inspection, sortation, and general yard maintenance as directed.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

JOB SUMMARY:

Your Purpose:
You will be performing a limited variety of highly repetitive duties to load and secure steel rail spike products into railroad gondola cars, boxcars, or truck trailers for shipment to customer location. Your Work:
- Operate a forklift to transfer finished products from the production line and secure with steel banding or shrink-wrap material to palletize product for shipment.

- Check and verify steel heat and bundle numbers, weight, and carbon content as indicated on the shipping invoice; check off an item or indicate shortages and forward to office personnel for processing.

- As directed, assist on the production line as a relief person.

Basic Function:
The Data Architecture and Engineering Manager plays a pivotal role in our data and analytics team, responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and optimization of our data architecture and engineering processes. Your Qualifications
- BS in Mechatronics Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering preferred OR HS Diploma/ GED and 5 years of related experience in a manufacturing plant.

Overview

BASIC FUNCTION:
The Cost Analyst II is responsible for supporting the Operations Management and Mill Controller through routine cost analysis, monthly forecasting and annual budgeting for the operational area(s).
Primary responsibilities include:
- Work closely with the Operations and Maintenance teams to achieve monthly budgets by providing daily forecasts/updates.

NATURE AND SCOPE:
The responsibilities of this position are to provide regular cost updates to the Melt Shop Superintendent and other Operational and Maintenance Managers. The Cost Analyst II will work closely with the Melt Shop team to make sure the area stays within their monthly budget. Additionally, the Cost Analyst II will manage and create the yearly budget (PEX) and provide the budget by cost center and cost element to the Mill Accounting department. The Cost Analyst II will also provide support to operations for SAP (or other ERP systems).
This position reports directly to the Mill Controller.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Responsible for daily cost updates and analysis as requested by Operations and Maintenance Managers.

BASIC FUNCTION (Primary Purpose):
This jobs primary function is to build relationships with customers and help support the sale of Gerdau product(s) to our customers (i.e., revenue generation)

This includes calling on the current book of business and looking within the territory for brand new customer opportunities (networking, face to face visits, trade shows, current customers, etc.). Routinely need to create or review market analysis data to support growth in his/her territory, but should not be the main focus of the job. As an estimate, this position will spend no more than 15% of time looking at new customers and the remainder on existing customers.
Manage customer needs from end-to-end from the home office. This includes quoting and negotiating pricing and volume by product, entering and managing pricing agreements, entering and magaging orders and product deliveries, and negotiating and managing any customer claims that may arise. When travelling to customers, trade shows, industry meetings, etc., a Customer Service Representative will be assigned to assist in managing these functions to ensure customers continue to receive superior service levels. |
