What You’ll Do
Lead all plant financial reporting, including inventories, production, payroll, and payables.
Analyze operating results and provide clear, actionable insights to improve performance.
Drive forecasting, budgeting, and business planning for the mill.
Ensure IFRS compliance and maintain a strong internal control environment.
Partner with operations to validate material usage, production costs, and inventory accuracy.
Lead and develop a local accounting team.
Support capital projects and financial modeling.
What You Bring
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
5–8 years of cost/general accounting experience in manufacturing (metals preferred).
Strong analytical skills, advanced Excel, and BI reporting experience.
SAP experience strongly preferred.
CPA/CMA/CA a plus.
Ability to communicate financial insights clearly and influence decision‑making.

What You’ll Do

Job Description:
Validate product quality data and lab results and provide valuable information with regards to the manufacturing quality of Gerdau's steel. You will audit product testing and inspections for chemical analysis and product traceability and report defects or off specification results and report findings to the management team.
Job Duties:
- Maintain test equipment to ensure continual operation.
- Review test results to report on Certified Test Report.
- Perform stress and strain analysis tests and evaluation.
- Maintenance of test equipment, calibrations and gauge R&R
- Coordinate trials for new products and process
- Observe and follow all general and departmental safety rules and regulations.
- Support production on product disposition.
- Maintain equipment, housekeeping, and apply 5S methodology in the area.
- Basic understanding of ASTM and CSA standards.
- Ability to work a rotating 12-hour shifts. Days, nights. If need coverage for weekend shifts.
Qualifications:
- Diploma, engineering will be an asset
- A minimum of two years of steel mill or related quality control experience or specific training on metallurgy or steel production
- Experience with MS Office and SAP preferred
- Prefer sensitive technical instruments experience
- Knowledge of all applicable federal, provincial, and local environmental legal requirements and practices
- Ability to work a rotating schedule including days, afternoons, nights and if needed weekends.

BASIC FUNCTION
Help ensure quality product by monitoring all phases of production operations for adherence to standards, taking samples for analysis, making physical inspections, and communicating with Production and other Metallurgical personnel to resolve problems.
The Lab Technician is responsible for daily quality testing requirements, record keeping, reporting, and equipment maintenance. The incumbent will be accountable for acquisition and preparation of test samples, as well as performing the actual tests and reporting of quality results to the appropriate department. Additionally, the Lab Technician may also be responsible for product inspection.
The Lab Technician will be required to review quality data results and compare them to product requirements. The individual is accountable for notifying the routine facilitator or Quality Assurance manager if there are any problems with the data or inspection of the product.
PRIMARY FUNCTIONS
- Monitor Rolling Mill for surface quality, bar size, length, and temperature.
- Observe activities at the Caster, choking, lancing, AC 3 temps, cast speed, and bar counts.
- Observe Melt Shop chemistry specification and degas requirements performed correctly.
- Record and monitor practices to ensure they are being followed. Participate in failure analysis for solutions and improvements.
- Identify and deliver samples for testing to the machine shop, both rolled and cast product.
- Post data and observations to a metallurgical report for disposition.
Specialized or Technical Knowledge and Skills
This position reports to either the Routine Facilitator. This position requires a minimum of two years of steel mill or related experience and a high school diploma. Training for the specific tasks will be provided by the site. An aptitude for working with computers and sensitive technical instruments will be a plus.
The incumbent must be able to work in a controlled laboratory environment, and must be able to work independently.
Incumbent must be capable of calibrating and standardizing vacuum spectrograph and carbon-sulfur determinator, operating saws, abrasive cut wheel and disk grinder. General knowledge of steel processing, principles of the electric arc furnace operation and basic metallurgical components of high carbon and alloy steel.

Job Summary:
Performs a variety of repetitive electrical maintenance duties necessary to install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment needed for the production of finished products, which requires an advanced understanding of control circuits, DC and AC drives, overhead cranes, electronics, test equipment, and electrical codes, as well as the ability to program PLC. Operates various electrical monitors and meters, hand tools, oscilloscope, and thermo energy camera. Serves as the Electrical Maintenance Team Lead by providing direction to the Electrician, which includes training, providing daily direction/work orders, and checking work. Works directly with vendors when ordering parts. Receives general supervision with general instructions for assigned tasks from the Plant Superintendent.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work involves routine tasks requiring the safe operation of electrical monitors and meters, hand tools, oscilloscope, and thermo energy camera to safely and effectively install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment, including instrumentation and electronic boards for Ajax converters.
- Receives direction in the form of wiring diagrams, drawings, specifications, and/or instructions covering the scheduled and emergency repair, installation, and inspection of work to be done from Plant Superintendent.
- Performs PLC programming.
- Checks and calibrates plant instrumentation.
- Inspects electrical equipment for defects.
- Determines the best way of making repairs to minimize interruption of production.
- Advises when immediate shutdown of equipment is necessary to minimize damage or when temporarily continued operation will have no harmful effect.
- Dismantles, inspects, repairs, adjusts, replaces, and reassembles faulty parts on electrical equipment.
- Completes reports and forms as directed.
- Works directly with vendors when ordering parts.
- Assists the Plant Superintendent with planning of electrical maintenance activities.
- Provides training, daily direction/work orders, and checking of work for the Electrician.
- Attends and participates in monthly safety meetings.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Work involves routine tasks requiring the safe operation of forge equipment, forge checks at routine intervals, and routine quality checks to ensure finished products meet customer specifications.
- Performs forge start-up and shutdown procedures, which includes knowing the functions of lights and switches on forge control panel and platforms.
- Resets forge electrical, oil system and unscrambler breakers
- Starts up all conveyors using proper start-up procedures.
- Replaces and aligns slings on the unscrambler.
- Performs basic troubleshooting on finger and arm, stock gauge, kicker pin and springs, worn tooling, transfer lift, and bar conveyor unscrambler.
- Performs conversions, including all forge tooling, all pinch rolls and bar conveyors, and forge timing and die alignment.
- Changes, resets and aligns rounder dies.
- Checks and sets forge stop positioning.
- Performs process monitoring, measurement, and required adjustment to ensure production of quality products.
- Accurately completes daily control sheet, forge sheet, and safety inspections.
- Performs other duties, as assigned by the Plant Superintendent.

Job Summary:
Performs maintenance necessary to keep plant, equipment, machinery, and tools in good operating condition. Work involves a wide range of methods and procedures on a variety of routine and non-routine duties to diagnose, dismantle, repair, lubricate, and reassemble equipment adequately and accurately. Troubleshoots basic mechanical assemblies to determine whether a pump, gearbox, hydraulic system, or pneumatic system can be repaired, or replaced.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Works from drawings, sketches, wiring diagrams, machine operation and maintenance manuals, work order requests, and oral instructions to install, adjust, repair, and perform assigned maintenance duties.
- Position, fit and weld components to assemble structural forms, machinery frames, plant equipment, attachments or accessories, and building parts according to blueprints or knowledge of structural and metal characteristics.
- Utilizes various specialty cutting and welding equipment.
- Troubleshoots and services pumps, gear boxes, motors, cranes, and hydraulic, and pneumatic systems as needed at an intermediate level.
- Periodically inspects conditions of plant operating machines and equipment for preventative maintenance purposes.

Job Summary:
Performs a variety of repetitive material handling duties necessary to receive and store raw materials, and package, store, load, and ship finished products to customers, which requires a basic understanding of the warehouse, shipping, and production areas. Gerdau is looking for an experienced Millwright to undertake a variety of tasks related to the installation, repair, and maintenance of mechanical equipment.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Receives instructions covering the scheduled and emergency repair, installation and inspection work to be done.
- Inspects plant equipment for defects, such as misalignment, wear, insufficient lubrication, etc. Determines the best way of making repairs to minimize interruption of production. Advises when immediate shut down of equipment is necessary to minimize damage or when temporarily continued operation will have no harmful effect.
- Dismantles, cleans, repairs, replaces, installs, maintains, assemblies and lubricates mechanical equipment. Adjust equipment for proper repairs. Assemblies and aligns gears, bearings and shafts, involving the application of press, sliding and running fits.
- Performs all rigging as necessary.
- Operates machine tools, such as drill press, pipe threading machine, power saw, etc.
- Performs all mechanical repairs as required on cranes.
- Lay outs, installs, maintains and repairs all types of pipe lines, fittings, fixtures and pressure systems as required.
- Repairs leaks in hydraulic, air, gas or water system. Replaces straight sections of pipe that have sprung leaks. Removes and installs complete operating components (cylinders, oil motors, four-way valves, check valves which are purchased spare parts and whose internal working components are spares for assemblies on production units). Repair pumps, compressors, blowers, etc.
- Changes, set up and adjust equipment as required by current operating conditions.
- Works with repair crews as directed on emergency break downs.
- Completes necessary reports on Preventive Maintenance and other equipment inspection checklist.
- Perform water test as required.
- Document all work performed on Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
- All other tasks assigned by management.
Secondary Responsibilites:
- Performs light welding where required in association with routine/emergency repair work.
- Observes good housekeeping and safety on the jobsite and maintenance shop.

BASIC FUNCTION:
The Sales Process Analyst is responsible for ensuring standardization of process within their assigned area of responsibility. NATURE AND SCOPE:

Qualifications for this position include a two year college degree in engineering, businesss administration, or related field – or an equivalent combination of education and experience. The incumbent should possess and demonstrate a working knowledge of the business system and of steel manufacturing methods. Previous qualifying experience on related work or lesser jobs of 1 – 3 years with practical training pertaining to sales, marketing, fulfillment, scrap processing, melting, casting, rolling, maintenance, finishing, and/or shipping/warehousing operations, and to include some supervisory and facilitation experience.
The incumbent will be responsible for documenting the standard processes to be used through the use of process control standards, management standards, routine procedures, job aids, and one point lessons through collaboration with hourly, non-exempt and supervisory personnel. Job Summary:
Move finished product from rolling mill to staging area for outbound shipments with the use of mobile or material handling equipment. Assist in a variety of functions related to the Logistics Department including inventory and quality checks.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

The Manager, Technical Service is responsible for technical service, technical support for participating in the product development process for Gerdau Long Steel North America (GLN), focusing on a specific product line (i.e. Special Bar Quality (SBQ), or others). NATURE AND SCOPE:
The Manager, Technical Services is primarily responsible for providing technical support to operations, sales and customers in order to assure Gerdau’s products meet customer expectations. The incumbent will provide feedback on performance to operations and sales that will allow the Mill locations to create appropriate actions to continuously improve quality. When required, will also assist operations and engineering with capital projects to assure new equipment meets the needs of Gerdau’s customer base. The incumbent will review all customer complaints for the assigned product line to assure proper investigation and response to customers. In conjunction with marketing and sales, will provide feedback to operations and sales regarding capabilities and intelligence on competitors.
The Manager, Technical Services reports to the Director of Marketing; however, the incumbent will have close interaction with QA Managers, Sales Managers and Directors, as well as with the Mill VP and General Managers.
The incumbent should have an in-depth knowledge of the product line industry, including product requirements, customer expectations and competitors’ capability. Additionally, the incumbent should also be familiar with the production process and the technical requirements to produce, test and inspect product. Will be responsible for staying abreast of current technology to recommend changes to impact continual quality and process improvement. Will work with operations and engineering on new capital projects to assure equipment selection and process capabilities meet customer expectations. The incumbent will be responsible for promoting Gerdau’s business interests by fostering and maintaining partnerships with academic research for assigned product line and process.
The Manager, Technical Services is responsible for the technical support and development of product capabilities, as well as research and support for implementing new products for the business. The incumbent will, in conjunction with sales, develop a list of strategic accounts to be visited proactively on a regular basis for quality update meetings in order to provide advance knowledge of quality issues and product changes to both sales and operations.
The Manager, Technical Services will be included in the customer claim process between sales, operations and the customer. All claim responses will be approved and sent to sales from the incumbent in a timely manner. There will be follow up on Failure Analysis, root cause analysis and action items to assure defects are prevented in the future. Interaction with operations regarding annual action planning for quality improvement is required. Additionally the Manager, Technical Services will assure product specifications meet customer needs. Will participate in plant quality meetings for routine process and procedures as well as improvement initiatives for specified product line.
Where applicable, the incumbent is responsible for determining personnel needs, selecting applicants, and training new employees and follow-up of work performed. This position has full accountability of all aspects of People Management with subordinates. This position will also coach and mentor personnel on product quality, operational effectiveness and career development. The incumbent will participate on special projects or conduct other duties as assigned.
Qualifications for this position include a Bachelors Degree in Metallurgical or Materials Science Engineering from an accredited institution and 10 years of steel related experience. Knowledge of specific product line and industry is required along with excellent communication skills. Demonstrated ability to achieve desired results through the team work and influence of others with, and having success in team building and people development is strongly preferred.

Job Summary:
The Yard Operator has a variety of duties and a broad skill set that makes this position an important part of operational needs. The Yard Operator requires knowledge of scrap grading, or have the ability to learn. The Yard Operator will assist in several aspects of daily operational needs such as scrap inspection, ferrous and non-ferrous purchasing, mobile equipment operation, and performing general maintenance duties.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow all established Gerdau Safety, Environmental, and Routine procedures specific to the yard.
- Work involves a variety of tasks, simple through moderately complex in nature, requiring some care to ensure correct procedures are being followed.
- Ensure that all incoming scrap is scanned for radiation and that all material that fails the scan is quarantined and the appropriate personnel are notified.
- Operate the loader and/or the material handler to assist in loading and unloading scrap material, while following the quality standards of Gerdau and the customer.
- Ensure that all incoming scrap inspected against quality, and environmental standards and appropriate deductions and downgrades are applied. Communicate findings with the scale in a timely manner.
- Inspect and verify scrap for grade and quality. Identify deductions and downgrades.
- Ensure that all outbound materials meets safety and quality standards.
- Perform and document daily Routine Equipment Care (REC).
- Detect and report faulty material, environmental hazards, safety, and/or improper operation of plant equipment or machinery; refer questionable and unusual matters to proper supervision. Maintain work area and equipment in a clear and orderly fashion.

Your Purpose:
This position directly reports to the Plant Controller. The incumbent will be responsible for the accounting functions for the Mill including payables, inventories, cost variances analysis and other financial records as may be assigned. This position is primarily responsible for maintaining accurate accounting transactions, records, and reports necessary to substantiate the financial performance of the mill. The incumbent also assists the Controller in performing monthly analysis of cost records to assist in identification of problem areas. The incumbent will be responsible for the effective and accurate collection, compilation, and issue of performance reports for plant operations involving production data such as production rates, man hours per ton, and dollars per ton. Additionally, the Asst Controller will show trends and analyze for cost control applications. Assist the controller in preparation of quarterly and annual reports and annual operating budgets.
You Have:
- Four year college degree in Accounting, with a broad background in accounting and cost analysis.
- 3-5 years of previous qualifying experience in jobs involving accounting practices and inventory control.
- CMA or CPA certification or working towards certification is preferred.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Job Summary:
Plan, lay out, and perform all operations required to install, troubleshoot, repair, construct, modify, calibrate, test, service, and program highly complex equipment in support of steel production operation and related plant facilities. Need to have knowledge of electrical and electronic wiring specification, properties of various materials, and the principles of operation and application of equipment.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and electronic controls and systems, using required knowledge and understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, fluidic, and electrical systems/components, as well as how they operate.
- Perform rounds and check machinery to identify abnormalities and ensure that machine functions are operating within the normal specifications.
- Exercise judgement when troubleshooting AC/DC motor controls, PLC, electrical drives, and all high-voltage systems at or below 480 volts.
- Inspect and perform daily maintenance on all shop machinery, mobile equipment, HVAC Systems, PLC networks, and cranes, and repairs or replaces worn items as required.

Scope (brief description):

NATURE AND SCOPE:
The VMI Analyst will manage inventory levels and replenishment schedules by coordinating various departments within the Operations Planning, Sales and Logistics to execute on the defined strategies. This position will coordinate automated replenishment for enrolled customers by maintaining system data, interface set up and maintenance requirements. The incumbent is responsible for auditing data for inconsistencies in the completed sales and automated replenishment schedule with controlled inventory levels. This position reports to the Sales Process Manager.
This position requires a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 1-2 years experience in vendor managed inventory, supply chain management and/or distribution planning. SAP APO experience is strongly preferred. The successful candidate will have a demonstrated experience in highly analytical and critical thinking skills, and the ability to make sound, independent decisions based on functional expertise and experience. This role will require the ability to handle multiple tasks, and proficiency with integrated business systems, Microsoft office, and general office equipment.
The incumbent must be able to converse in a professional manner with diverse groups, both internal and external, in a professional and articulate manner. This may include, but is not limited to contacting customers for purchase order numbers or sending order confirmations, as well as receiving and resolving service inquiries and complaints from internal and external customers. This role must be able to communicate effectively to maintain customer satisfaction while facilitating the resolution of critical issues, complaints, returns, credits or questions regarding unexpected changes in item activity, product shortages and/or shipping schedule conflicts. This role must work with appropriate sales team and fulfillment management team to address projected stock shortages and recommend timely solutions.
The incumbent must maintain general knowledge of and adhere to GLN North American operations, products, policies and procedures. BASIC FUNCTION:
The Corporate Accounting Manager – Cost is responsible for maintaining and improving upon the existing cost accounting functions in support of manufacturing operations and functional departments. The qualifications for this position is at least eight (8) years of progressive accounting responsibilities in a multi-divisional manufacturing organization preferably in a corporate environment; excellent communication skills; proficient in business office software and accounting systems. Must possess a Bachelors or Masters Degree with major in accounting or finance. SAP experience is required. A CPA license or CMA certification is preferred.

Corporate Accounting Manager – Cost manages the monthly Costing close process, extensively coordinates with all operational controllers to effectively and efficiently close the costing systems and produce managerial cost reports. This position also helps manage the structure, account maintenance, report design and maintenance of the SAP system related to cost.
The manager will maintain account integrity by reviewing and monitoring internal control performance and fulfilling all SOX requirements. This position will also coordinate activities with operations for external auditors.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Maintain accurate costing methodology in the ERP System (SAP).
- Maintain and improve the costing methodology and KPI reporting for inventory and management cost reporting (P&L).

NATURE AND SCOPE
The major role of this job is to identify opportunities for improvement in processes, products, and production within the area of responsibility. These duties will include the development and implementation of new as well as adjusting existing standards, structures, systems, and equipment. This position is responsible to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of all improvement aspects within their area of responsibility. Incumbent will be responsible for reaching improvement through the application of the available methods and tools provided through GBS and improvement principles in conjunction with the use of technical and engineering principles. Responsible for coordinating improvement activities directly with the appropriate Superintendent, Routine Facilitator, and staff within area of responsibility.
Qualifications for this position include a two year college degree in Mechanical or Electrial Engineering combined with 4 to 6 years experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment with exposure to standardization and production quality methods. Incumbent must have a working knowledge of steel manufacturing methods and techniques involving the use of heavy mill machinery and related equipment, with a strong background in Robotics and Automation. Previous qualifying experience in scrap processing, melting, casting, rolling, maintenance, finishing, shipping/warehouse operations, and supervisory/facilitation a must. Successful candidate will demonstrate a basic knowledge of the business system and the use of complex technical and engineering processes. Requires the ability to train people and serve as a coach to employees. The incumbent should possess solid presentation abilities combined with good interpersonal and organizational skills.
This position directly reports to the department superintendent. The incumbent will coordinate efforts with the different functional groups both within area of responsibility and other areas of the location. - Assist loading or unloading; unload without help as necessary; tie down the load with chains or cinches; attach markers for overhang.
- Light physical effort consisting of continuous light exertion in driving, frequent effort in tying down the loads, and assisting unloading.

Gerdau is looking for an experienced Electrician to undertake a variety of tasks related to the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical equipment. This would include but is not limited to communication systems, various mill and production equipment, electronic computing and controls systems, power and distribution control devices, gauges, and instrumentation.
Duties & Responsibilities
Analyze all types of circuits, wiring diagrams and drawings as required to install and maintain electrical and electronic devices and systems.
Perform effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repair or replace faulty parts and wiring on all types of equipment.
Perform inspection and repairs on all electric brakes including those used on cranes. Perform preventive maintenance on electrical, instrument, controls devices and equipment.
Start up and shut down various types of plant equipment.
Document all work performed on Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS.)
Perform all other plant electrical maintenance as required.
This person should be familiar with:
Motor Controls –maintain, troubleshoot, and replace starters and VFD’s or DC drives.
Programmable logic controllers - read schematics and use PLC indication lights to find which I/O is present.
Communication Systems – install new and make repairs to existing communication systems. BASIC FUNCTION:

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this position's main focus will be to inspect, repair, replace, install, adjust and maintain mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
Hourly Rate: $42.98/ hour plus COLA (cost of living allowance). Overtime available.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receives instructions covering the scheduled and emergency repairs, installation and inspection work to be done
- Inspects equipment for defects such as misalignment, wear, insufficient lubrication
- Finds the best way of making repairs to minimize interruption of production

NATURE AND SCOPE:
This position is primarily responsible for developing, refining, and communicating the strategies and operating information needed to optimize productivity while ensuring the efficient and cost effective production of final products which meet or exceed the customers’ expectations. The Process Metallurgist I may prepare and/or review data sheets, diagrams, and flow charts needed for the correct and efficient operation of equipment. This will include the need to collect, interpret and extrapolate data from the production process in order to monitor current performance against established practices and make recommendations on how to improve efficiencies for the future. The incumbent must work in close cooperation with department supervisors and appropriate maintenance and operations personnel to ensure correct and proper operation of all related equipment to obtain the desired production, safety, and quality levels as needed.
Qualifications for this position include a four year college degree in Metallurgical Engineering or Material Science combined with 3 to 5 years of industrial experience, with direct experience with multiple strategic process improvement projects. The incumbent should have a broad technical knowledge of metallurgy and an understanding of steel manufacturing techniques used in the melting, refining, and casting of molten steel, in addition to modern rolling practices. This also includes a good understanding of structural, bar and merchant products along with their typical applications in industry. The successful candidate must be able to apply engineering fundamentals to the continuous improvement efforts of production and maximize the efficiency of the overall department operations.
This position reports directly to the Quality Assurance Manager. The incumbent must possess good communication skills, have the ability to articulate ideas, be detail oriented, and be comfortable dealing with associates at all levels within the organization, as well as associates from customers, suppliers and technical associations.
The Process Metallurgist I will assist in the preparation and completion of corrective actions and failure analyses both within and external to the facility. This will require the candidate to understand and apply laboratory techniques used for this purpose. Basic Function:
The CapEx Reliability and Maintenance Manager II is responsible for increasing asset availability to operate at the designed production rates, producing the quality product required with minimal disruption at optimal costs through the utilization of ARP reliability tools and methods. Manage programs to improve equipment reliability, optimize maintenance costs, and reduce equipment downtime. Responsible through the ARP function to maximize maintenance workforce efficiency. Responsible for major outage planning processes and execution to minimize downtime and ensure all maintenance performance will achieve equipment reliability. Due to the nature of manufacturing operations the incumbent may be required to be on-call, and must be available for specific operations or projects.
The CapEx Reliability and Maintenance Manager II is a member of the Mill’s leadership team and reports directly to the Vice President & General Manager. This position is considered a peer to the Melt Shop and Rolling Mill Superintendents, who must work as a team to achieve the optimal production output. The Reliability and Maintenance Manager I regularly interfaces and coordinates reliability and maintenance strategies and improvements with Director Asset Reliability and Maintenance.
This position requires a broad based thought process and substantial experience to:
• Develop and adjust the complex technical installations of the mill to meet actual and future needs;
• Adjust and improve the organization and the efficiency of maintenance and reliability activities and teams;
• Consider the needs of, direct, motivate and develop a large and diverse employee group.
• Manage individual team performance through the People Management processes and guidelines.
Because of the high value of the capital invested in the mills, long-term planning is of great importance to meet long-term goals while also accommodating current and short-term needs.
The incumbent is accountable for a sound and effective use of ARP reliability tools, methods and practices to increase asset availability and to ensure continuous operation of production facilities, buildings and equipment, as well as minimizing maintenance delays. The incumbent recommends and approves changes and improvements on existing machinery and equipment and directs the repairing and maintaining of plant machinery, equipment, tools, and facilities to prolong plant equipment life; attempting to minimize replacement expense and downtime. The incumbent directs the moving, rearranging, and installation of all plant equipment, machinery, and utility services through subordinate personnel.
The CapEx Reliability and Maintenance Manager II verifies all work in progress as required to ensure that proper maintenance is being performed. Utilizes staff of Reliability Engineers, ARP Planners and support functions to identify and recommend process or equipment changes. The incumbent also anticipates and investigates major production delays and breakdowns to ensure that adequate preventive maintenance is being performed, as well as to investigate delays and to research and recommend major changes to eliminate or minimize delays, safety hazards and downtime; takes necessary corrective action within limits of established policies. The incumbent refers unusual conditions and situations to the Vice President & General Manager and/or operating superintendents for input and concurrence on decisions.
The CapEx Reliability and Maintenance Manager II works in close association with the appropriate personnel to ensure adherence to OSHA regulations and to provide a safe work environment for Gerdau employees.
Working closely with operation and engineering management, the Reliability and Maintenance Manager I is responsible, through subordinate personnel, for conducting evaluations of proposed projects that entail the evaluation and benefits derived from the project. In addition, this position has responsibility to support the preliminary project preparation and expenditure authorization reports for the Vice President & General Manager's approval and submission through the Corporate approval process. Coordinates the procurement of maintenance/repair parts (MRO), supplies and materials through the Procurement department. Responsible for monitoring to ensure maintenance parts inventory are maintained at appropriate minimum/maximum levels. The incumbent will evaluate vendor proposals along with operating personnel and serve as an active participant in the vendor selection process. Annually prepare capital expenditure budget including extraordinary maintenance item expense proposals.
The incumbent is responsible for the supervision of the Mill Shared/Central maintenance, Asset Reliability, Maintenance Support functions, and Central Automation Team. Interacts regularly with maintenance staff and acts as catalyst to facilitate exchange of ideas, sharing/use of best practices and to attack significant maintenance problems. Responsible for clearly defining problems, developing alternate solutions, gaining concurrence of operating management and implementing solutions to either eliminate recurring or significant equipment reliability and/or safety problems.
The CapEx Reliability and Maintenance Manager II will ensure maintenance manuals, standard maintenance operating procedures, CMMS, equipment reliability databases and other maintenance related software systems are properly maintained. The incumbent is responsible for the hiring, development and deployment of all maintenance personnel, oversight of training programs for maintenance and operations regarding equipment testing, operation and repair, new software, methodologies and procedures. This position requires the ability to effectively communicate with associates at all levels within the organization.
The CapEx Reliability and Maintenance Manager II works in close cooperation and communication with the other department superintendents, providing support staff services for the operating departments to ensure that proper maintenance functions are performed with minimum delay and at the optimal cost.
The primary challenge for this position is to safely minimize production delays due to equipment or facility malfunctions, while balancing job duties with cost goals.
The incumbent reviews all salary, position changes, disciplinary and performance appraisal actions initiated by subordinate supervisors/facilitators and all maintenance personnel. Position Summary:
The Production Control Manager is responsible for managing the end-to-end order fulfillment process at the steel plant, including production scheduling, inventory planning, and on-time delivery to customers. This role ensures customer orders are executed in alignment with customer service standards while balancing operational efficiency and working capital. The Production Control Manager works collaboratively with Operations, Sales, and the S&OP organization to achieve business objectives.
Scope & Complexity:
This role operates in a fast-paced steel manufacturing environment that requires rapid responses to changing customer demands and production conditions. The Manager must integrate knowledge of the melt shop, rolling mill, finishing, and logistics to support achieving results. The position carries significant responsibility for customer satisfaction, delivery reliability, and operational efficiency. The Production Control Manager will be responsible for establishing production schedules, ensuring resources are available and allocated correctly, and tracking production performance to meet customer demand. The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of production procedures and the ability to optimize production and resource allocation for maximum efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the order fulfillment process from order release through production, inventory allocation, and customer delivery.
- Provided leadership and oversight to a team of schedulers, expeditors, and dispatchers, guiding daily operations and championing continuous improvement and professional growth.

Responsibilities include:
A variety of physical labour tasks and activites at various work stations throughout the worksite which includes working a forklift and skidsteer:

Job Summary:
The laborer is an entry level position, reflecting employees with no previous knowledge or experience related to scrap metals and recycling. The laborer must have the ability to learn and a strong work ethic. The laborer will assist in several aspects of daily operations such as scrap inspection, sortation, and general yard maintenance as directed.
Under the safety standards of Gerdau the laborer will learn to operate mobile equipment and perform general maintenance duties on machinery. The laborer must have strong communication skills and use them at all times to ensure safety among co-workers, truck drivers, peddlers, and contractors.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow all of the established Gerdau safety, environmental, and routine procedures specific to the yard
- Operate the fork-lift while progressing towards loader operation and material handler operation to assist in the loading, off-loading, and sorting of scrap materials
- Inspect incoming scrap against quality and environmental standards with a progression towards grading and purchasing scrap material
- Apply deductions to non-conforming materials through effective communication with the scale house or yard inspector
- Perform and document daily Routine Equipment Care (REC)
- Detect and report faulty tools, equipment, environmental hazards, and safety hazards to a supervisor
- Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion
- Provide excellent customer service

Locations with Rail:
- For Operations that have rail; shift full and empty cars, operate locomotive, activate switches, couple and uncouple cars, and set brakes or wheel blocks as requested, in accordance with standard operating procedures.

- Ensure non-conforming objects have been removed from incoming scrap vehicles such as gas tanks (drained and removed), propane tanks, and batteries
- Ensure radioactive materials are removed from inbound/outbound scrap material and quarantined properly

BASIC FUNCTION
:
The primary responsibility for a Buyer is the timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services to support production plans throughout a procurement region, per designated commodities/categories. These activities include, but are not limited to the negotiations, maintenance, and execution of national, regional and/or local supplier agreements, as well as, facilitating team-based supplier selection and overall contract management. The incumbent will participate with applicable central commodity teams to develop effective procurement strategies to minimize total costs of category acquisitions then execute approved plans.
SAP MRP Management & Implementation
- Lead the implementation, optimization, and continuous improvement of SAP MRP functionality for direct materials.
- Own all MRP master data elements (Material Master, BOMs, routings, procurement type, lot-sizing, safety stock, MRP areas).

NATURE AND SCOPE:
This position is responsible for purchasing goods and services in a timely, economical, and efficient manner. The Buyer II oversees all purchasing activities, maintenance, and execution of the procurement process to meet commercial, operating, and cost requirements. Incumbent will participate in the development of tactical plans for procurement, establishing and maintaining effective relations with the supplier base, and the active execution and implementation of national, regional and local supply contracts.
The incumbent should possess knowledge of the steelmaking industry, manufacturing, industrial relations, logistics, procurement procedures, and the ability to analyze technical drawings. A bachelor’s degree in business administration, Engineering, Economics or related field or at least 6-9 years of direct procurement experience, generating and implementing contracts, as well as, managing purchase orders, documenting negotiations, communications and accounting, taxes, and legal implications is required. A professional certification in procurement or supply chain management preferred.
The incumbent must be a self-starter, and possess strong skills in negotiations, communications, math, analysis and problem-solving. The incumbent must be able to function independently and as a member of a cross-functional team. High ethical standards, leadership and a strong work ethic are also key attributes. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Maintain current and thorough knowledge of appropriate local markets and competitive practices as well as procurement systems, company information systems and other business applications.

- Collaborate with the procurement team to develop purchasing processes and to determine the best available costs, quality, reliability, continuity and delivery relative to the total cost of ownership.
- Execute purchase contracts in accordance with company policy and guidelines, verify purchase order details, and assure vendor performance. Review and assess vendor capabilities and past performance.
- Gather data, then report activities and regional results to central management, regional management, plant management, and internal customers to help control costs and identify savings opportunities. Occasional presentations will be made to management teams.
- Contribute to the reduction of inventory throughout the region by working with suppliers to monitor, regulate, and liquidate materials. Take corrective actions, when necessary, to support changing conditions in mill demand, supply chain dynamics, etc. Periodic evaluations of Inventory Min/Max levels.
- Assist in the development and achievement of process goals, Annual Action Plans, and the administration of established policies, procedures, and processes.
- Serve as a project lead on assignments across the Mills within designated commodity/category.
- Coordinates with the Central Procurement Team to manage the supply of production and non-production materials and working capital to optimize inventories while researching alternative sources of supply.
- Monitor the actual vs. planned usage of all production and non-production materials assigned to meet inventory targets and maintain consistent supply.
- Manage supply agreements between Central and Region keeping the agreements updated as to pricing, demand, balance and monitor Gerdau and Supplier performance to said agreements in order to ensure the continuity of supply and the commercial relationship.
- Train and communicate specifications, commercial terms and conditions, and safety & environmental compliance requirements to shippers and plant personnel.
- Facilitate sessions to communicate procurement improvement methodologies, tools, policies, practices, and processes to regional procurement teams.
- Implement the standardization and continual improvement of the procurement process and the attainment of other identified procurement Key Performance Indicators within the Gerdau Business Systems guidelines.
- Manage the acquisition of CapEx equipment and ensure services are carried out according to technical specifications and meeting internal customer needs. Additional CapEx duties may include: management of milestone payments; monitoring of obligations of both the supplier and Gerdau, monitoring and expediting of manufacturing and construction timelines. What You’ll Do

- Completion of Ramsey Electrical exam.
- 3–5 years of heavy industrial electrical maintenance experience.
- Knowledge of AC/DC motor theory, PLC troubleshooting, and high-voltage systems.

- Ability to work Dupont 4/3 schedule with 12hr rotating shifts: days, nights, and two consecutive weekends. Out of 28 days will work only 14 days providing work life balance.

Job Summary:
Plan, lay out, and perform all operations required to install, troubleshoot, repair, construct, modify, calibrate, test, service, and program highly complex equipment in support of steel production operation and related plant facilities. Need to have knowledge of electrical and electronic wiring specification, properties of various materials, and the principles of operation and application of equipment.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and electronic controls and systems, using required knowledge and understanding of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, fluidic, and electrical systems/components, as well as how they operate.
- Perform rounds and check machinery to identify abnormalities and ensure that machine functions are operating within the normal specifications.
- Exercise judgement when troubleshooting AC/DC motor controls, PLC, electrical drives, and all high-voltage systems at or below 480 volts.
- Inspect and perform daily maintenance on all shop machinery, mobile equipment, HVAC Systems, PLC networks, and cranes, and repairs or replaces worn items as required.
- Service the electrical aspect of pumps, motors, cranes, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems as needed.
- Lay out, install, and maintain a variety of complete electronically-controlled equipment, such as rolling mill loop controls, secondary distribution centers, programmable sequences, and pulpit control panel.
- Balance loads and wire complex circuits.
- Work with related diagnostic equipment including digital voltmeter, paper recorder, multi-volt meter, oscilloscope, and other electronic tools and equipment.
- Maintain specified records of work performed, details of repairs, and materials usage.
- Interpret schematics and blueprints at an intermediate level.
- Provide technical assistance to maintenance and production personnel as needed.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Operate mobile equipment to lift and transport materials, including loaders, cranes (includes rigging principles), man-lifts, brick-lift, and forklifts.
- Ensure daily preventative maintenance is performed on vehicles and mobile equipment to include fueling, cleaning, and checking /adding fluids as needed.
- Follow all PPE requirements and safety rules and guidelines for all tasks being performed.
- Assist in training of coworkers as needed.
- Maintain communication with coworkers through two-way radio and hand signals.
- Demonstrate ability and willingness to work as part of a self-directed team with limited supervision.
- Maintain work areas and equipment in clean and orderly condition.
- Exhibit engagement in GBS tools and methodology.
- Demonstrate basic computer skills, specifically, SAP experience.
- Assist maintenance personnel as needed.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Verifiable maintenance technical training.
- Understanding of shop mathematics with the use of drawings, specifications, charts, tables, and precision measuring instruments.
- Experience working in an industrial environment in a position containing a routine maintenance component.
- 3 to 5 years of heavy industrial electrical maintenance experience.
- Intermediate knowledge of AC/DC motor theory and ability to troubleshoot with PLC.
- Intermediate drive knowledge, electrical controls, NFPA 70E, and high voltage power systems.
- Intermediate knowledge of HVAC controls, electrical schematics, motor theory, and common electrical maintenance hand tools.

Pay & Schedule
$63,000–$68,000/year total compensation
Hourly pay: $21.16/hr to start, increasing to $22.66/hr after 90 days
Production bonus + shift premium
354 hours of scheduled annual overtime

What You’ll Do
- Cut and bundle steel to meet custom orders
- Operate saws, cranes, forklifts, and conveyors
- Perform quality checks and follow ASTM standards
- Keep your area clean and organized (5S)
- Communicate clearly with your team and follow safety rules
What You Need
- 1–3 years of industrial or production experience
- Forklift and/or crane experience
- Ability to pass Gerdau’s entrance and fit-for-duty exams
- Physical ability to lift, climb, bend, and operate equipment
