BASIC FUNCTION (Primary Purpose):
The Security Guard EMT ensures the safety of all people and property at the location by monitoring traffic into and out of the location, and by performing other related responsibilities that contribute to the location’s safety. Scope (brief description):

Job Summary:
Move finished product from rolling mill to staging area for outbound shipments with the use of mobile or material handling equipment. Assist in a variety of functions related to the Logistics Department including inventory and quality checks.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform a variety of tasks, which are routine in nature, and which require exercising care in the operation of mobile equipment, handling materials safely, and loading appropriate products in designated areas.
- Transfer stacked and bundled materials from end of rolling mill finishing operations to stock area:
- Store materials according to product, grade, size, and heat number.

- Ensure daily preventative maintenance is performed on vehicles and mobile equipment, which may include fueling, cleaning, and checking/adding fluids as needed.

Education/Experience:

Plant Operations:
The Regional Energy Manager (REM) supplies energy for several mills within a broad geographical region and serves as a resource for plant management for energy forecasts, communication, and collaboration regarding commercial aspects of energy supply. The successful candidate will:

BASIC FUNCTION:
The SAP Security Analyst is a senior level technologist, under minimal supervision of the Sr Manager, Security or Manager, Security, functioning as an SAP security expert. Preferred qualifications for this position include knowledge and use of inventory procedures, which involves significant computer usage and application and use of different company software systems including SAP, SRM, Lawson, Maximo, and GGP. A working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office applications is also helpful. The position requires a close attention to detail - physical inventory of stock items is periodically required. Ideally, the incumbent will have a general working knowledge of plant machinery and layout to assist in aforementioned responsibilities.

Job Summary:
Reporting to the Roll Shop Supervisor, this position's main focus will be to set up and operate a computer numerically controlled lathe to machine all types of new and used rolls to finished size and contour for all sections rolled in the Mill.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Plans working procedures from instructions, prints, computer programs, and work orders
- Slings rolls and places them in a lathe using a crane
- Centers and fastens roll in the lathe
- Barrels new rolls
- Selects and profiles cutting tools for the job in accordance with hardness, machinability, desired contour, and surface of the roll to be turned and set up in the tool holder
- Sets up and operates CNC lathe to turn any type of roll to finished size within close tolerances
- Selects and adjusts speeds and feeds for material to be cut
- Turns rolls to specifications and intermittently checks dimensions for compliance using a protractor, calipers, micrometers, rulers, straights edge, pass templates, and thickness gauges.
- Observes turning of roll, interrupts upon deviation from specifications, and corrects minor errors in a computer program by manually overriding computer
- Operates lathe manually to complete finishing of the roll such as taking out points, blending radii, and using plugs
- Operates milling machine to cut deformations in rolls
- Operates electric discharge machine (EDM) to brand rolls
- Inspects and lubricate equipment
Additional Responsibilities:
- Follow all PPE requirements and safety rules and guidelines for all tasks being performed.
- Responsible for training other personnel on electrical systems, PLC’s, networks, process changes, etc.

Job Duties
- Provide immediate emergency care for traumatic and non-traumatic injured workers and contractors including coordinating and directing and setting up for or transporting offsite medical treatment for the injured workers as required.

Qualifications
The incumbent will hold a degree from an accredited nursing school, preferably a Bachelor of Nursing, and will have 3-5 years of Clinical Nursing experience. Occupational health and safety experience and OSHA training preferred. Prior experience with Texas Workers Compensation case management and claims management recommended. The incumbent must also have a current registered nursing license in the state of Texas.
The incumbent must have the ability to analyze and make sound judgements to accurately document and maintain appropriate confidentiality of medical records. Should have the ability to communicate effectively with employees, physicians/medical professionals, and other outside parties. Knowledge of state and federal laws related to Worker’s Compensation, and legislation regarding confidentiality. Must be proficient in the use of personal computers and at least an intermediate skill level in Microsoft Word PowerPoint, and Excel. The incumbent must have excellent written communication skills and will be expected to document decision, agreements, and orders made.
This position is responsible for implementing and evaluating strategies to facilitate maximum medical improvement for employees to return to work when possible and then establishes case-specific target return-to-work dates. Job Summary:
This position monitors and assists in controlling incoming and outgoing vehicles, shipments and containers through use scale and software systems. All activity must be accounted for and accurately documented on scale tickets, bills of lading, purchase orders and packing slips, etc.
Nature and Scope:
Directly reporting to the Division Manager, the Scale Operator must regularly communicate with dispatch personnel and other scale operators to assist with company vehicle traffic and all incoming and outgoing yard traffic. This position interacts frequently with yard operations including but not limited to emergency contact for yard operations, material receiving personnel, internal and external drivers as well as management, sales and I.T. personnel.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Enthusiastic greeting of customers and ascertain material grade including all necessary paperwork needed to safely direct all incoming loads to the proper locations throughout the facility.
- Ensure accurate documentation of all inbound and outbound scale transactions by weighing of all customers vehicles, carriers, and company vehicles on main scale. Record supplier, truck or car identification, contract number (if appropriate), description and grade of material, gross, tare and net weights, and discharge location of the load. This includes accurate recording of load deductions (non-conforming material), re-pricing as directed by Buyers, printing and distributing scale tickets as required.
- Maintain daily records of all purchases and sales transactions including proper assignment of purchase and sales order numbers to inbound and outbound material.
- Process scale payments including processing payment adjustments; contact the Buyer to adjust or add in contracts; remove temporary pricing, address and mail out payments as per customer request, fax scale tickets to customers as per their request.
- Create issue and submit cheques to the proper signing authority with proper back up documentation and distribute as requested.
- Issue cash payments for customers that require immediate payment.
- Must be able to manage difficult customer situations effectively and professionally.
- Answer main telephone line and redirect all calls accordingly.
- Constantly maintain radio contact with the appropriate yard personnel including and being aware of Emergency calls and proper handling of different types of situations.

Job Summary:
The Mobile Equipment Operator yard will operate mobile crane, magnet crane, mobile shear, and stationary shear to process scrap materials, load and unload scrap from trucks or railcars, and move scrap within the yard as required.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow all established Gerdau Safety, Environmental, and Routine procedures specific to the yard.
- Inspects mobile shear, magnet crane, and stationary shear daily and documents on checklists to ensure equipment is maintained and in proper working order.
- Performs daily preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure proper working order such as lubrication, greasing, fueling, and keeping cab clean.
- Inspects for proper scrap grade and safety and environmental concerns such as tanks, cylinders, etc. while shearing.
- Shear unprepared material into prepared state identifying size, thickness, and physical dimensions.
- Use magnet crane to load/unload scrap from customer vehicles into appropriate piles or railcars in order to process for shipping.
- Use mobile equipment to lift and move scrap from one area of the yard to another.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Assist with yard housekeeping efforts and perform other duties and work assignments as required and directed.
- Assist co-workers in daily operational duties that are essential to the yard in terms of safety, efficiency, and profitability.
- Problem solving input and contributions as required.

Your Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of heavy utilities electrical maintenance experience including routine maintenance.
- Successful completion of electrical entrance exam.
- Ability to work in heights up to 150 ft.

- Perform rounds and check machinery to identify abnormalities and ensure that machine functions are operating within the normal specifications.
- Exercise judgement when troubleshooting AC/DC motor controls, PLC, electrical drives, and all high-voltage systems at or below 480 volts.
- Inspect and perform daily maintenance on all shop machinery, mobile equipment, PLC networks, and cranes, and repairs or replaces worn items as required.
- Service the electrical aspect of pumps, motors, cranes, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems as needed.
- Lay out, install, and maintain a variety of complete electronically controlled equipment, such as rolling mill loop controls, secondary distribution centers, programmable sequences, and pulpit control panel.
- Balance loads and wire complex circuits.
- Work with related diagnostic equipment including digital voltmeter, paper recorder, multi-voltmeter, oscilloscope, and other electronic tools and equipment.
- Maintain specified records of work performed, details of repairs, and materials usage.
- Interpret schematics and blueprints at an intermediate level.
- Provide technical assistance to maintenance and production personnel as needed.

Your Qualifications:
- Basic computer skills.
- 3 years of overhead cab crane experience is required.

Your Purpose:
You will operate an overhead cab crane to lift and transfer the scrap bucket from the scrap loading area to the furnace for charging. Transport raw materials to the floor, add alloys in the furnace/bins, perform electrode addition functions, and position furnace roof, shell, and equipment during maintenance activities. Follow established material handling practices and procedures combined with directives from melt shop floor personnel. Cab is sealed and air conditioned.
Your Work:
- Operate a 270 ton overhead charging crane to pick-up and transport scrap bucket from scrap loading area to the furnace for charging. Lift, move, and position raw materials and refill material bins as needed. Perform electrode addition functions.
- Use judgment to plan, perform, and make decisions as to the sequence of material movement and handling procedures required to service melt shop area in a timely and efficient manner.
- Manipulate or depress crane controls such as pedals/levers to regulate speed and direction of crane and hoist movement.
- Inspect crane for defective parts and notify supervisor of defects or malfunctions.
- Unload, transfer, and aid in placing equipment, parts, electrodes, and other supplies.
- May serve as a Relief Ladle Crane Operator when regularly assigned operator is unavailable.
- Perform other crane handling operations in the melt shop as directed according to operational requirements.
- May include removal of slag pot.
- Perform routine equipment care, and record and inspect vehicles and mobile equipment, which may include fueling, cleaning, and checking/adding fluids as needed.

JOB SUMMARY
This project management position also serves in an advisory or consulting capacity coach to all levels of employees, contractors, and plant management. The Engineer will report to the Engineering Manager for the Whitby and Cambridge Mills and will actively participate in the technical development for the Engineering department and maintenance personnel. This position has direct responsibility for specific projects with medium complexity and values ranging from $50,000 up to $5,000,000 or more. The incumbent will be required to travel, possibly for an extended period, to work on CAPEX projects. Project managers at Gerdau are responsible for all aspects of projects; from the development of the investment proposal, to engineering and design, to overseeing fabrication, to construction supervision, and finally to the training of operators and tradespeople.
An Engineer is expected to have valuable experience that improves the quality of execution of projects within the steel industry. The incumbent must have an engineering specialty in at least one field that is applicable to Gerdau’s operations in Ontario, and they must be able to provide value to the business in that field. The applicant must have at least 5 years of previous experience in heavy industry.
WHAT THE JOB ENTAILS
- Project Manager for CAPEX and non-CAPEX projects at the Whitby Mill.
- May be required to complete some projects at our Cambridge Mill
- Working with medium and high voltage power distribution systems and components
- Protection & control circuits and logics
- Conducting power engineering design and analysis
- Working with PLC based industrial control systems and SCADA systems
- Working with AC and DC drives to control large motors
- Working and trouble shooting industrial automation networks

- Conduct Technical Studies to support CAPEX investments.

- Support operation of the onsite substation and liaise with utility provider as required to maintain compliance with all applicable regulations. Oversee substation modifications, upgrades, and maintenance activities.
- Development and management of internal engineering and/or project management procedures.
- Create, review, approve and issue engineering drawings as required for modifications, installations, and maintenance/repair purposes. Stamping of drawings is not required.
- Must stay abreast of current technologies.
- Provide engineering services for department projects and cost justification.
- Assist in preparing, reviewing and troubleshooting programs for the plant PLCs and computer control systems.
- Travel will be required, approximately 1 week per quarter.
WHAT YOU HAVE TO OFFER
- Four-year Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years of industrial experience.
- Specialty in steel-related field.
- Knowledge of engineering and construction techniques used in industrial design, construction, operation, and maintenance.
- Ability to apply engineering fundamentals to the continuous improvement efforts of CAPEX and maximize the efficiency of the overall department operation.
- Good communication skills, ability to articulate ideas, detail oriented, and comfortable dealing with associates at all levels within the organization.

BASIC FUNCTION:
Primary functions are tax compliance for the Company and its subsidiaries. Primarily responsible for the preparation of all sales and use, property, fuel, intangible federal excise, and occupational tax returns and timely payment of associated taxes. Communicates effectively with taxing authorities to resolve any disputed items. Assists with sales and use, property, and fuel tax audits. Assists in preparation of various tax analysis, general ledger account reconciliation, tax accrual calculations, and other duties as assigned by the State/Local Tax Manager or the Senior Tax Accountant.
NATURE AND SCOPE:
The Tax Accountant reports directly to the State/Local Tax Manager who reports to the Director of Taxes. This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
This position is responsible for:
- The preparation of the Company’s sales and use tax, real and personal property tax, fuel oil and mileage tax returns.
- State and Local tax compliance by completing and filing all returns, tax research and analysis as necessary to maintain compliance.
- Registration and renewal with state and local entities where the Company has locations, has employees or does business to obtain business licenses, tax identification numbers, etc.
- Filing annual reports as required by various state and local entities where the Company has a business presence.
- Assisting with sales/use tax audits, real/personal property tax audits, etc. and negotiating with taxing authorities on behalf of the Company to minimize assessments and taxes while remaining in compliance with tax regulations.
- Calculating and reconciling to the general ledger, property tax accruals for all Company locations and cost centers and communicating significant changes or variances to division managers and controllers.
- Filing tax refund claims with taxing jurisdictions where the company is due tax credits or tax refunds.
- Reconciling sales and use tax liability general ledger accounts on a regular monthly basis.
- Assisting corporate and division personnel with local tax issues, tax research and recommendations.
- Providing feedback to management on strategies and ideas to minimize taxes and/or reduce expenses while remaining in compliance with all tax laws and regulations.

BASIC FUNCTION:
This position is primarily responsible for the preparation and maintenance of the Company’s financial system, including preparing consolidated financial statements for monthly internal financial and statistical reporting, and providing financial information to the parent company (Gerdau, S.A.) on a timely basis. NATURE AND SCOPE:
This position should possess a broad knowledge of accounting and reporting, preferably in a manufacturing environment, including consolidated reporting for SEC registrants. This position assists the Corporate Accounting Manager in the accounting functions of the Corporate Office. BASIC FUNCTION:
Integral member of the team responsible for the accounting functions at the Whitby & Cambridge Mills as well as the Whitby Shredder including financial reporting, forecasting, inventories, cost variance analysis, government reporting, and other financial responsibilities as may be assigned.
NATURE AND SCOPE:
This position, based out of our Whitby Mill, is primarily responsible for maintaining accurate accounting transactions, records and reports necessary to substantiate the financial performance of the operation. The incumbent also assists the Controller in performing routine analysis of spending to assist in identification of areas of opportunity.
The incumbent should possess a broad background in accounting and cost analysis as may be demonstrated by one with three to five years of previous qualifying experience in jobs involving accounting practices, inventory control, and cost analysis. Previous manufacturing experience is desirable.
The Senior (frequently referred to as “Mill”) Accountant is responsible for the accounting function to include inventories andinventory control, Government reporting, production records review as well as SOX compliance activities and self-assessments.
There are several challenges for the position including maintaining accurate records (production, purchasing, material),providing cost benefit analysis for operating management decisions and analyzing cost records to recommend changes toimprove profitability.
The position is responsible for the effective and accurate collection, compilation and issue of performance reports for plantoperations involving production data. Other responsibilities include trending and analyzing for cost control applications andassisting Controller in preparation of periodic reports and annual operating budgets.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Maintain accurate and timely accounting transactions, records and reports in close coordination and cooperation with Controller.
- Assist Controller in preparing and analyzing monthly financial forecasts. Collaborate with department to gather inputs and ensure forecasts can well predict monthly financial performance. Prepare variance analysis providing insight into discrepancies.

Qualifications Required
- Four-year college degree in Engineering or Material Science

Job Summary:
The laborer is an entry level position, reflecting employees with no previous knowledge or experience related to scrap metals and recycling. The laborer must have the ability to learn and a strong work ethic. The laborer will assist in several aspects of daily operations such as scrap inspection, sortation, and general yard maintenance as directed.
Under the safety standards of Gerdau the laborer will learn to operate mobile equipment and perform general maintenance duties on machinery. The laborer must have strong communication skills and use them at all times to ensure safety among co-workers, truck drivers, peddlers, and contractors.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow all of the established Gerdau safety, environmental, and routine procedures specific to the yard
- Operate the fork-lift while progressing towards loader operation and material handler operation to assist in the loading, off-loading, and sorting of scrap materials
- Inspect incoming scrap against quality and environmental standards with a progression towards grading and purchasing scrap material
- Apply deductions to non-conforming materials through effective communication with the scale house or yard inspector

The Solar Pile Shift Lead Operator is responsible for providing efficient and good solar pile products with short lead times and minimal downtime to the SPM operations. This position Shift Lead oversees solar pile production processes with minimal supervision. Prinicpal Accountabiities:

Your Qualifications:

Your Purpose:

Nature and Scope:
The incumbent administers a sound and effective maintenance program to assure continuous operation of various gas and deisil powered mobile equipment. The incumbent recommends and approves changes in improvements on existing machinery and equipment and directs the repairing and preventive maintenance of equipment to prolong plant equipment life; attempting to minimize replacement expenses while keeping downtime to a minimum.
Principal Accountabilities:

Qualifications Required
- Four-year degree in Business, Engineering, Economics or related field.
- Five (5) years of related procurement experience including a minimum of two (2) years in a supervisory role is required.
- Professional certification in procurement/ supply chain management (C.P.M., CPSM) is preferred.

Your Purpose
You will report to the Procurement Operations Manager. You will oversee and manage the acquisition of indirect materials and services within the Petersburg Operations adhering to company standards and established commodity strategies, while ensuring the lowest total cost, desired quality, and required delivery terms.
You will work directly with the Regional and Central Procurement Teams in developing a strategic direction throughout their areas in order to improve profitability and manage working capital. These activities include but are not limited to the execution of supplier agreements and purchase orders, management of supplier quality and performance, conducting cost-savings initiatives, and ensuring compliance to established policies and procedures. You will also be responsible for the supervision and development of a team of Buyers and other Procurement personnel in order to support the business operations.
Your Work
- Maintain a current and thorough knowledge of appropriate local and regional markets and competitive practices.
- Serve as a liaison with the supplier community. You will establish and maintain effective supplier and market relationships to accomplish this goal. Responsibilities include settlement of discrepancies within management guidelines, maintaining standards, and coordinating ongoing supply chain activities within their business division scope. You will also monitor and maintain continuity of supply and on time delivery, as well as the physical, safety-related and environmental aspects of materials purchased.
- Collaborate with other members of the procurement team to develop the purchasing process and to achieve best possible cost, quality, reliability, continuity and delivery relative to the Total Cost of Ownership. You will review and assess vendor capabilities and past performance. You will also execute purchase orders and contracts in compliance with company policy and guidelines and will assure vendor performance. Provide information to central management, plant management, and internal customers to help control costs and identify savings opportunities in the procurement of goods and services.
- Maintain a solid working knowledge of the Steel Making Process, Procurement Systems, and Operational Routines and Procedures. You will assist in the development and contribute to the achievement of process goals (KPI’s). This position is a critical element in the development and execution of the Annual Action Plan and the administration of established policies, procedures, and processes.
- Oversee the acquisition of capital equipment and ensure that services are carried out according to technical specifications and meeting internal customer needs. Additional responsibilities within CAPEX acquisitions will include the effective management of milestone payments; monitoring and expediting equipment manufacturing and construction timelines, and monitoring of the contractual obligations between the supplier and Gerdau. You must have a working knowledge of foreign trade and INCOTERMS as well as contractual terms and conditions related to the purchase of indirect and direct materials and services.
- Resolve discrepancies primarily pertaining to specifications, weight settlement, order requirements, invoice payment and other disputes with suppliers and mill personnel, within established policies. Issues must be resolved professionally to maintain sound and effective relationships with Gerdau’s suppliers and internal customers.
- Maintain proficiency in procurement systems, with proficiency in company information systems and other business applications.
- Standardize and continuously improve the procurement process according to Gerdau’s Procurement Policies and Procedures.
- Drive individual, team and departmental attainment of established Key Performance Indicators directly related to the procurement process. Manage and development of support staff in order to continuously improve the knowledge and competencies of the team.

Your Purpose:
You will be responsible for the planning, setting-up, and performing the routine duties and operators necessary to cast molten steel through a continuous casting machine process. Follow prescribed methods, procedures, and operation sequence.
Your Work:
- Visually monitor computers screens in pulpit to operate the run-out equipment and cut billets to the specified length.
- Perform billet inspection, monitor billet weights/lengths and adjust as necessary.
- Assists maintenance on down days.
- Periodically use hand torches to cut billets to length.
- Periodically use torch to cut a sample of a billet for purposes of ensuring quality.
- Removes slag from under the torch pit and run out pit using rakes, shovels, water hoses, and/or mobile equipment.
- Maintains heat separation by marking billets with heat numbers and taking separation samples.
- Performs routine daily maintenance/inspection of torches and equipment.
- Transport and transfer of billets to be charged in rolling mill.
- Stock consumables, tools in area according to 5S principles.
- Cuts scrap in order to maintain healthy billet inventory.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Performs daily preventative maintenance, record and inspection on vehicles/mobile equipment to include fueling, cleaning, checking and adding fluid as needed.

Qualifications Required

Your Purpose
You will report to the Procurement Operations Manager. You will oversee and manage the acquisition of materials, services, and equipment adhering to company standards and established commodity strategies, while ensuring the lowest total cost, desired quality, and required delivery terms.
You will work directly with the Regional and Central Procurement Teams in developing a strategic direction throughout their areas in order to improve profitability and manage working capital. These activities include but are not limited to the execution of supplier agreements and purchase orders, management of supplier quality and performance, conducting cost-savings initiatives, and ensuring compliance to established policies and procedures. You will also be responsible for the supervision and development of a team of Buyers and other Procurement personnel in order to support the business operations.

- Cut unprepared scrap in the yard with a cutting torch for the electric furnace.
- Through on the job training, must become certified on Billet Yard Crane in order to serve as a relief operator. This requires proficiency in operating the crane and assisting with routine and preventative maintenance. Safely operate overhead Billet Crane to warehouse billets between the casting and rolling process.
- As needed, function as a Caster Cutting Attendant. This requires versatility to adequately carry out the normal machine operator duties for each job performed and participating in housekeeping activities in the casting area.
- Clean machinery and other equipment or apparatus, assist maintenance personnel, as needed handling tools, parts, and perform routine maintenance on any equipment used.
- Perform material handling duties by unloading trucks transporting supplies and parts to the warehouse, stock room, or work areas.
- Use hand tools such as a shovel, pick, sledgehammer, crowbar, broom, and rake; equipment such as hand trucks, dollies, jack, pneumatic hammer, as well as operate forklifts, front-end loaders, and bobcats to perform daily tasks and to get up stock for the furnace.
- Assist with hanging electrodes, taking temperatures and samples at the furnace, and adding necessary alloys at the tap as directed. Required to function as an Electric Furnace Helper as needed.
