Your Qualifications:
AS degree in Mechanical, Engineering, or Electrical Technologies OR GED/ High School diploma AND Professional certificate in Asset Reliability.
A minimum of 3 years of predictive maintenance experience.
A working knowledge of heavy manufacturing, with at least 5 years hands-on-experience in Predictive Maintenance as an Instrument Technician, Electrician or Mechanic.

Your Purpose:
You will be responsible for both performance and analysis of condition-based maintenance surveys of electrical, mechanical and process equipment utilizing Predictive Methods.
Your Work:
Perform condition based maintenance surveys on plant equipment using vibration, thermography, MCE, visual inspections, airborne, ultrasound and other techniques/technologies as appropriate.
Prepare written reports to document inspections and recommendations for preventive actions.
- Support the training of maintenance and operations personnel in basic predictive practices.
- Create Failure Modes Evaluation Analysis (FMEA) and predictive matrix using historical and current equipment data.
Develop maintenance plans and tasks that ensure a proactive process using the Computer Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Manage predictive work using a formal, systematic, and analytical approach.
- Develop PdM routes and perform predictive services that facilitate continuous improvement through new condition monitoring and innovative approaches to production processes.
- Apply predictive technologies to solve operational problems and implement permanent solutions.
- Obtain and maintain a minimum Level II certification in vibration analysis and thermography: Level II certification and ultrasound along with an advanced MCE certificate.
- Lead major failure incident investigations in area of responsibility as required.
- Maintain test equipment and tools in a clean, safe, and functional condition at all times.
- Approve and/or develop procedures and practices to use testing equipment such as laser alignment, balancing devices, etc.
- Participate in the development of Annual Action Plans.
- Ensure safety rules and requirements are followed in all work areas.
- Monitor and report Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to support ARP assessment and improvement.

The major role of this job is to identify opportunities for improvement in processes, products, and production within the area of responsibility. This position is responsible to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of all improvement aspects within their area of responsibility. Incumbent will be responsible for reaching improvement through the application of the available methods and tools provided through improvement principles in conjunction with the use of technical and engineering principles. Responsible for coordinating improvement activities directly with the appropriate Superintendent, Routine Facilitator, and staff within area of responsibility.
Qualifications for this position include a four year college degree in Engineering, Business Administration or Material Science combined with experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment with exposure to standardization and production quality methods. Successful candidate will demonstrate a basic knowledge of the business system and the use of complex technical and engineering processes. Requires the ability to train people and serve as a coach to employees. The incumbent should possess solid presentation abilities combined with good interpersonal and organizational skills.
This position directly reports to the department superintendent. The incumbent will coordinate efforts with the different functional groups both within area of responsibility and other areas of the location. The Process Engineer/Improvement Facilitator will assist location management with the Annual Action Plan and the administration of established policies, procedures, and processes. This job is responsible for compiling and analyzing project and production data. This position will have limited scope and breadth of responsibility for material manufacturing processes as well as the multitude and complexity of the equipment utilized in the manufacturing process. There is a limited level of budgetary and CAPEX related expenditures.

The incumbent will be responsible for the oversight, contribution to, and support of all the safety activities. The Electronic Technician analyzes job requests received from various departments for priority, material requirements and scope of project. Primary responsibilities include: plan, coordinate, and perform all operations required to troubleshoot, maintain, repair, modify, calibrate, test and service control systems in support of steel production and related plant operations. 1. Analyze job requests received from various departments for priority, material requirements and scope of project. 2. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in:
- Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Industrial Engineering

Your Purpose:
You will be performing a limited variety of highly repetitive duties to load and secure steel rail spike products into railroad gondola cars, boxcars, or truck trailers for shipment to customer location. You will assist in servicing production lines and transfer finished products to temporary storage locations or dock loading platform.
Your Work:
- Operate a forklift to transfer finished products from the production line and secure with steel banding or shrink-wrap material to palletize product for shipment.
- Move palletized material to a temporary storage inspection station or loading dock.
- Disengage rail car mover lever to position boxcar or gondola into the loading position.
- Prepare a rail car or other specified vehicles to receive the product for shipment. Attach steel strapping material to boxcar interior walls in accordance with standard operating procedures and methods. Ship product palletized or loose as per customer order.
- Operate forklift, or handheld, push-button pendant crane, with or without magnet, to load specified product into the proper vehicle.
- Operate a forklift or pendant crane to unload incoming steel and machine shop supplies, pallets, empty kegs, and steel banding strips. Place supply items at the proper storage locations. Distribute pallets to the production line staging area.
- Check and verify steel heat and bundle numbers, weight, and carbon content as indicated on the shipping invoice; check off an item or indicate shortages and forward to office personnel for processing.
- Operate forklift to empty scrap buckets and return to the production line.
- As directed, assist on the production line as a relief person.

Job Description
An Automation Technician must fulfil all the requirements of an Electrician II with
advanced proficiency and technical skill. Must be able to troubleshoot, service and repair

Duties & Responsibilities

Job Summary:
The laborer is an entry level position, reflecting employees with no previous knowledge or experience related to scrap metals and recycling. The laborer must have the ability to learn and a strong work ethic. The laborer will assist in several aspects of daily operations such as scrap inspection, sortation, and general yard maintenance as directed.
Under the safety standards of Gerdau the laborer will learn to operate mobile equipment and perform general maintenance duties on machinery. The laborer must have strong communication skills and use them at all times to ensure safety among co-workers, truck drivers, peddlers, and contractors.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow all of the established Gerdau safety, environmental, and routine procedures specific to the yard
- Operate the fork-lift while progressing towards loader operation and material handler operation to assist in the loading, off-loading, and sorting of scrap materials
- Inspect incoming scrap against quality and environmental standards with a progression towards grading and purchasing scrap material
- Apply deductions to non-conforming materials through effective communication with the scale house or yard inspector
- Perform and document daily Routine Equipment Care (REC)
- Detect and report faulty tools, equipment, environmental hazards, and safety hazards to a supervisor
- Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion

Job Summary:

JOB SUMMARY:

The Supply Planning Specialist (aka Scheduler) will be responsible for the production planning and scheduling of steel fabricated solar pile to align with the Company’s sales, production, and logistics goals. Job Summary:
The Yard Operator has a variety of duties and a broad skill set that makes this position an important part of operational needs. The Yard Operator requires knowledge of scrap grading, or have the ability to learn. The Yard Operator will assist in several aspects of daily operational needs such as scrap inspection, ferrous and non-ferrous purchasing, mobile equipment operation, and performing general maintenance duties.
The Yard Operator will be expected to safely operate a material handling crane or loader in order to accomplish daily tasks. They must communicate regularly with the scale, supervisor, other coworkers, and customers about the quality of material and shipping requirements.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow all established Gerdau Safety, Environmental, and Routine procedures specific to the yard.
- Work involves a variety of tasks, simple through moderately complex in nature, requiring some care to ensure correct procedures are being followed.
- Ensure that all incoming scrap is scanned for radiation and that all material that fails the scan is quarantined and the appropriate personnel are notified.
- Operate the loader and/or the material handler to assist in loading and unloading scrap material, while following the quality standards of Gerdau and the customer.
- Ensure that all incoming scrap inspected against quality, and environmental standards and appropriate deductions and downgrades are applied. Communicate findings with the scale in a timely manner.
- Inspect and verify scrap for grade and quality. Identify deductions and downgrades.

- Perform and document daily Routine Equipment Care (REC).

Job Summary:
Receive, process and visually inspect incoming scrap with the ability to determine the grade in accordance with established procedures and specifications.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Verify and document supplier’s contents by visually inspecting load against the weight ticket obtained from the supplier. Apply knowledge of the different types of scrap in order to accept, downgrade, or reject the load as needed. Responsible for documenting any non-conforming material.
- Manually remove or signal crane operator to remove pieces of unwanted material. Attach the weight of any non-conforming material to each ticket to ensure proper deductions.

- Responsible for ensuring all truck drivers follow company guidelines and procedures.

Troubleshoots basic mechanical assemblies to determine whether a pump, gearbox, hydraulic system or pneumatic system can be repaired or needs to be replaced, whether to replace or repair worn parts, and amount of lubrication needed.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Complete preventative maintenance on piston, rotary screw and oil-free compressors, Change oil and oil filters, air filters, belts and solenoids
- Perform routine preventative maintenance such as oil changes, cleaning, and setting controls.
- Troubleshoot and repair pneumatic and hydraulic systems
- Replace pressure switches, gauges, valves and air regulators

- Troubleshoots and services pumps, gear boxes, motors, cranes, and hydraulic, and pneumatic systems as needed at an intermediate level.
- Periodically inspects conditions of plant operating machines and equipment for preventative maintenance purposes. Inspects and performs routine equipment care on all shop machinery, mobile equipment, and cranes.
- Tears down, replaces, repairs, installs, and assembles simple equipment parts, components, and accessories.
- Cuts, bends, and threads conduit, pipe, and tubing.

Additional Responsibilities:

Job Description
To provide minimum downtime for all plant equipment by preventive maintenance programs, troubleshooting and repairing any maintenance (mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, etc.) problems. The incumbent daily assigns projects and repairs and follows up with technical and/or physical assistance.
The incumbent is responsible for maintaining the mill in a functional, productive and safe operating condition. He is responsible to carry out the preventive maintenance program as related to cranes, machinery motors and other related equipment where routine adjustments are made and is available and adaptable to special problems which arise. The incumbent works closely with supervisors and superintendents within the company explaining and resolving maintenance problems.
The incumbent must also keep several reports including maintenance downtime log, work request log, and fab shop log, and records any changes that are made to the master plans.
The incumbent has several employee relations functions to perform such as merit reviews and recommends the hiring, disciplining and terminating of employees. The incumbent is responsible for maintaining records of attendance. The incumbent is responsible for training and orientation and must be able to communicate technical expertise in order to delegate responsibility to subordinates. The technical experience includes but is not limited to industrial hydraulics, understanding of mechanical, piping, and structural drawings, mechanical systems, water systems, rotating equipment, industrial automation, PLC’s and HMI’s.
The major challenges facing the incumbent include assuring the efficient and safe operation of machinery. The incumbent must be able to adapt to changes and make technical decisions in order to prevent or reduce downtime. Problems requiring capital outlays or extended downtime have to be approved by superior.
Provide full support for the implementation and management of safety systems. Participate in all accident and incident investigations in area of responsibility. Conduct routine safety activities including inspection tours, employee contacts, lock out audits, and contractor safety. The Data Analyst I will be responsible for creating actionable insights, collaboration, predictive analysis, machine learning, data scrapping and recommending specific actions to drive business objectives.
The Data Analyst I I must work to develop strong relationships with internal stakeholders to continually capture new market insights and to share them within the organization.

Your Purpose:
You will be responsible for the timely and cost-effective procurement mainly of internal and external services to support Gerdau’s production plans in the designated region and commodity/category. These activities include but are not limited to; supporting the strategic procurement process, execution of national, regional, and/or local supplier agreements to include team-based bid processes, negotiations, supplier selection/development, and contract management. Goals are met by implementing and maintaining effective relationships with current Commodity/Category suppliers as well as developing new supply sources within their designated area.
Your Work:
- Procure goods and services, prepare purchase orders and/or supply contracts within established policies and procedures, verify purchase order details, and document vendor performance.
- Monitor inventory levels of supplies, review min/max levels, assess vendor capabilities and past performance, recommend adjustments, and collect supplier performance data.
- Keep the procurement team, plant personnel, and central management abreast of changing market and supplier conditions.
- Communicate specifications, commercial terms/conditions, and safety and environmental compliance to vendors/suppliers, shippers, and inspection personnel.

BASIC FUNCTION:
The Product Metallurgist II provides technical coordination and support for the Melt Shop and/or Rolling Mill to advance the development and refinement of operating procedures to ensure quality standards. Responsible for providing support in the coordination and evaluation of customer requirements and product specifications in accordance with the capacities and capabilities of the production departments. The Product Metallurgist II will, for the most part, be self directed. As directed, he/she will aid in corporate initiatives such as corporate quality projects or technical affiliation with Universities.
NATURE AND SCOPE:
Under the direction of the Quality Assurance Manager, the Product Metallurgist II is primarily responsible for the identification, evaluation, and implementation of product enhancement opportunities. These actions involve the planning, supervision, evaluation and reporting of product trials, and on-site material review at customers’ plants. The Product Metallurgist II has a dotted line reporting relationship to the Manager Technical Services.
Qualifications for this position include possessing a working knowledge of steelmaking production, a four-year from an accredited institution in an Engineering discipline and a minimum of 5 years of experience in a steelmaking environment, preferably with quality control or metallurgy. The incumbent should have a strong knowledge of metallurgy and an understanding of steel manufacturing and techniques used in the melting, refining, and casting of molten steel and/or modern rolling practices. The incumbent must be able to independently apply metallurgical fundamentals to the continuous improvement efforts of production and maximize the efficiency of the overall operation.
This position is responsible for developing, refining, and communicating the engineering and operating data needed to produce billets and finished products to meet customer
product specifications. Although there are no employees reporting directly to this position, the incumbent does have advisory and training responsibilities for other exempt and hourly production and maintenance employees. The incumbent will be considered a subject matter expert in the knowledge management system and will be expected to contribute to this system. Additionally, the incumbent will assist in metallurgical training of all employees, including employee advanced technical training processes.
The incumbent will visit customers as required when there is a technical issue with the product or new product development opportunities. Additionally, the incumbent will be a technical resource to customers for product requirements. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required for both reporting problems to the mill and reporting the analysis and solutions back to the customer. The incumbent will work with external customers to develop solutions that will make the products that they require and that the plant is capable of producing. Incumbent must demonstrate competency for being customer-focused with a pleasant demeanor and approach.
The Product Metallurgist II shall review all Procedures, Job Aids, One Point Lessons, Specifications, Process Guarantee Tables and SAP – SKU’sPGT’s and SKU’s required to ensure products meet the customer’s expectations. The incumbent will receive/collect, interpret and extrapolate data from the production process in order to monitor current performance against established practices and capabilities, as well as make recommendations on how to improve product quality for the future. As needed, he/she will work in close cooperation with operational and quality leaders to insure correct and proper operation of all equipment to obtain the desired production, safety, and quality levels. This position is also responsible for developing proper engineering information to facilitate departmental requests and needs for cost justification.
Incumbent must stay abreast of current technologies to assist with recommending changes to effect continual improvement in the production and quality process. Shares best practices through involvement with Gerdau learning opportunities including the Knowledge Management System.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Public Relation Communication Adminlant Services Clerk – Community Liaison This role will be the primary contact and coordinator for plant tours and community involvement. In addition to the administrative coordination, the incumbent will be responsible for accompanying tour groups through the plant while communicating plant specific information to customers, trade groups, and other community organizations. This role is responsible for fielding inquires related to our social responsibility initiatives and attending community events as necessary. Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities:
1.Coordinate and schedule plant tours to include:
a.Scheduling tours at non-peak times to minimize the impact to operations
