You Have:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Must have EVOV and EMT-B certification or higher.
- Must have valid drivers license.
- Ability and willingness to work rotating day and night shifts and rotating shifts in a 24/7 operation.
- Ability to climb stairs/ladders, balance, bend, kneel, sit and stand or walk for long periods of time.
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally face to face and over the phone.
Your Purpose:
You will ensure the safety of all people and property at the location by monitoring traffic into and out of the location, and by performing other related responsibilities that contribute to the location’s safety.
Your Work:
- Guard entrance gates and controls traffic in and out of plant.
- Log in and direct visitors, vendors, and contractors to appropriate locations of plant.
- Administer first-aid treatment to sick or injired persons an transports to medical facility if necessary.
- Remove or assist in removal of injured persons from scene of accident.
- Communicate with professional medical personnel regarding treatment and handling of sick or injured people.
- Train for and assist in technical rescues.
- Inspect outgoing traffic to prevent unauthorized removal of company property.
- Answer phones and tranfer calls to appropriate department.
- Perform routine inspections of fire extinguishers and maintains inventory.
- Keep protective equipment and vehicles maintained.
- Conduct onsite drug or alcohol tests at directed by plany management.
- Communicate high alert weather conditions to all plant personnel.
