$63000 - $68000 / year which includes biweekly hourly pay, production bonus, shift premium, and 354 hours of annual scheduled overtime.

You Have:
- Successful completion of entrance exam at Gerdau will be required.
- 1-3 years of industrial production experience required.
- Forklift and/or crane experience.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to climb stairs, climb ladders, reach, squat, tolerate prolonged standing or walking, balance, bend from trunk, operate mobile equipment, crawl, kneel, push, and pull objects.
- Ability to frequently lift objects up to 15 lbs. and dunnage up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to frequently mount and dismount forklifts and cranes.
- Have passed “applicable fit for duty” exam.
Your Purpose:
Facilitate all off-line processes that are required to fill special orders for customers by cutting product to unique customer specifications or modifying existing inventory by cutting finished product to meet shipment needs. Assist in a variety of functions related to the Quality Department, and specific to the offline process, which includes the filling of all special orders and product reclamation.
Your Work:
- Execute all off-line processes that are required to fill all special orders for customers.
- Operate automated radial band saw and conveyor system.
- Band, package, and/or palletize finished product as necessary to prepare for final shipment.
- Perform all other duties as assigned. This position may be required to help and fill for other Quality positions and job duties.
- Perform daily preventative maintenance and inspections on assigned equipment.
- Assist in training of coworkers as needed.
- Maintain communication with coworkers through two-way radio and hand signals.
- Operate mobile equipment and overhead cranes to transfer product or materials while following all safety rules and regulations.
- Execute general 5S activities in the work area.
