COME JOIN OUR TEAM...... We are currently looking for a Health, Safety Environmental and Quality Specialist at our Arlington, TN location.

 

Job summary:

You will assist in Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality (HSEQ) reporting, meetings, projects and operational observations within or regarding our processess, decisions, planning and overall culture at our downstream facility.  You will maintain daily records and ensure process controls remain effective within our operations.  As well, you will assist in maintaining, auditing and continuous improvement to our Quality Management System (QMS).

 

Your primary duties and responsibilities will include:

- Reports a summary of daily incidents and assists with follow-up actions

- Assists with monthly safety training and meetings

- Maintains environmental permits and documentation

- Maintains records of calibrated equipment used during quality checks

- Prepares samples for/completes quality checks; inspects processes surrounding quality checks

- Records quality data and reviews for non-conforming specifications

- Assists with corrective actions due to no-conformances

- Creates/modifies procedures related to HSEQ when necessary

- Assists with projects/other duties  related to HSEQ when requested

 

You will have the following physical requirements:

- Ability to climb stairs, reach, squat, tolerate prolonged standing or walking, balance, bend, push and pull objects

- Ability to lift up to 40 pounds

- Abiltiy to stand for prolonged periods

- Ability to work in ambient temperatures

 

Our ideal candidate will have the following education / experience:

- High school diploma or GED

- Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)

- Computer knowledge and experience, espeically Microsoft Office applications

- ISO 9001:2015 experience

- 1 year working in a munufacturing enevironment in a similar role
