Job Responsibilities:

  • Hand pick items such as copper bearings, wire harnesses, rags, dirt, rubber, foam, etc. place into separate containers
  • Operate and routine inspection of mobile equipment.
  • Monitor and report operating condition of production equipment, as required.
  • Complete and submit checklists or equipment care documents associated with assigned task(s)
  • Job performed primarily in standing/static position
  • Rotating shiftwork
  • Wearing heavy clothing, as required and job appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
  • Assist in maintenance planned/unplanned tasks as required
  • Assist in tasks to support production efficiencies and up time
  • Assist with plant housekeeping efforts and perform other duties and work assignments as required and directed.
  • When operating mobile equipment follow all prescribed safety guidelines
  • Perform daily checks to ensure equipment is maintained in proper working order.
  • Working at heights
  • Working in adverse weather conditions.

 

Required:

  • Ability to work 8 hour rotating shifts including afternoon/nights
  • Must have a high school diploma/GED
  • Must be able to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
  • Must have good attendance and work ethic
  • Must be physically able to perform in a labour intensive environment
  • Must have 1 - 3 years of Heavy Industrial or Manufacturing
