Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Work involves routine tasks requiring the safe operation of forge equipment, forge checks at routine intervals, and routine quality checks to ensure finished products meet customer specifications.
- Performs forge start-up and shutdown procedures, which includes knowing the functions of lights and switches on forge control panel and platforms.
- Resets forge electrical, oil system and unscrambler breakers
- Starts up all conveyors using proper start-up procedures.
- Replaces and aligns slings on the unscrambler.
- Performs basic troubleshooting on finger and arm, stock gauge, kicker pin and springs, worn tooling, transfer lift, and bar conveyor unscrambler.
- Performs conversions, including all forge tooling, all pinch rolls and bar conveyors, and forge timing and die alignment.
- Changes, resets and aligns rounder dies.
- Checks and sets forge stop positioning.
- Performs process monitoring, measurement, and required adjustment to ensure production of quality products.
- Accurately completes daily control sheet, forge sheet, and safety inspections.
- Performs other duties, as assigned by the Plant Superintendent.

JOB SUMMARY:
Performs a variety of repetitive electrical maintenance duties necessary to install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment needed to produce finished products, which requires an advanced understanding of control circuits, DC and AC drives, overhead cranes, electronics, and test equipment. Operates various electrical monitors and meters, hand tools, oscilloscope, and thermo energy camera. Receives general supervision with general instructions for assigned tasks from the Plant Superintendent and/or the Master Electrician.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Receives direction in the form of wiring diagrams, drawings, specifications, and/or instructions covering the scheduled and emergency repair, installation, and inspection of work to be done from Plant Superintendent and/or Master Electrician.
- Checks, calibrates plant instrumentation, and inspects electrical equipment for defects.
- Determines the best way of making repairs to minimize interruption of production.
- Advises when immediate shutdown of equipment is necessary to minimize damage or when temporarily continued operation will have no harmful effect.
- Dismantles, inspects, repairs, adjusts, replaces, and reassembles faulty parts on electrical equipment.
- Complies with Lockout/Tag Out policies and procedures.
- Works independently.
- Mostly works outside on lighting, transformers, etc. in extreme hot and cold conditions.
- Exposed to high levels of noise, which always requires hearing protection.
- Completes reports and forms as directed.
- Attends and participates in monthly safety meetings.
EDUCATION:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Maintenance Electrician’s license or Associate’s electrical degree required.
- Ability to read, write, add, subtract, and follow instructions.
EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 2+ years of work experience as an electrician in a heavy industrial environment.
- PLC programming experience preferred.
- Make highly complex decisions regarding electrical maintenance.
PHYSICAL DEMAND:
- Frequently required to stand and walk.
- Occasionally required to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.

Job Summary:
To manage, direct, and coordinate scrap production at a metals recycling scrap yard in order to achieve production output, and profit objectives consistent with quality customer service and safety and corporate goals. This position is responsible for the overall management, profitability, and production. Nature and Scope:
The incumbent has the responsibility to support and enhance the division’s sales policies, procedures, practices, to ensure the desired results consistent with profitability objectives, and existing market conditions. Maintain safe working conditions and insure that employees follow safe working standards. Participates in safety meetings and follows up on all matters related to safety. Job Summary:
Work involves a variety of tasks, routine in nature, including routine equipment care, safely handling material, and operations support as necessary. Part runner, spotter, checking PRAs, fire watch, overseeing Gerdau and contractors, watching multiple jobs at the same time and ongoing spotter training. Job Summary:

Your Qualifications:
- Must pass entrance exam.
- 1-3 years industrial/manufacturing experience. Brick Mason experience a plus.

Your Purpose:
Plan, lay out, and perform all operations necessary to lay brick and refractory in order to build, rebuild, and re-line ladles, electric-arc furnaces, roofs, tundishes, and other steel-making vessels.
Your Work:
- Complete a range of duties that are highly repetitive and routine in nature in order to properly and effectively lay refractory brick to build, rebuild, re-line, or patch electric-arc furnaces, ladles, tundishes, and other steel-making vessels.
- Operate pendant crane as needed to move refractory material to and from storage area.
- Cut brick to size using pneumatic tools to ram material, walls, tundishes, and other areas as required.
- Remove burned or damaged brick and clean surface of vessel using sledgehammer, pry bar, brick hammer, and/or pneumatic chipping gun.
- Spread or spray refractories over exposed bricks to protect bricks against deterioration by heat using a trowel or gunning machine.
- Perform refractory work at the Furnace.
- Assemble and disassemble ladle slide gate and/or tundish slide gate for maintenance inspection.
- Perform minor burning with torch, lance, and welding as needed.
- Support trialing of new refractory products.
- Operate mobile equipment to lift and transport materials including loaders, cranes, man-lifts, brick-lift, and forklifts.
- Ensure daily preventative maintenance is performed on vehicles and mobile equipment, which may include fueling, cleaning, and checking/adding fluids as needed.
- Follow all PPE requirements and safety rules and guidelines for all tasks being performed.
- Assist in training of coworkers as needed.
- Maintain communication with coworkers through two-way radio and hand signals.
- Maintain work areas and equipment in clean and orderly condition.

Your Purpose:

Your Work:

- As a relief operator for all machines in the finishing department, requiring versatility to adequately carry out the normal machine operator duties Involving straightening, shearing, stacking, and building operations and to troubleshoot and repair banding and tying machines.
- Requires close attention and care in observing operations and in guiding or turning material to facilitate straightening, transfer stacking, or tying of products.
- Requires care in making tying or strapping machine adjustments and in providing quick response to alleviate material jams and equipment malfunctions.
- Will involve operating tying/ strapping, bundle discharge, straightener entry machines and to secure bundles for storage or transfer. Stock and feed machines with wire.
- Will activate machines for spacing and placement of binding material and to secure bundles for storage or transfer.
- Will observe material in process for obvious product blemishes, flaws, or short pieces.
- Will operate radio pendant overhead crane and forklift to assist in material movement or housekeeping activities.
- During periods of continuous operation, perform troubleshooting activities associated with equipment failure of banding and tying machines and perform necessary routine or minor maintenance repairs within the scope of technical knowledge; also conduct daily maintenance inspection checks on banding and tying machines and perform preventive maintenance activities; coordinate the reloading of strapping and wiring material.
- Perform other auxiliary duties to include staging parts and equipment such as straightener rolls, guides, etc., for changeovers and assisting finishing crew in completing changeover activities.
- Assist maintenance personnel and operators in other preventive and breakdown maintenance, removing and cutting cobbles.
- Prepare and attach identification tags, tie off heat and lot run ends, and occasionally count bundle pieces.
- Prepare accurate simple add and subtraction hand-held measuring tools.
- Multiplication and division to

simple tonnage to pound conversion production records including piece count per bundle with explanation for overages or shortages, product length, and heat numbers. - Maintains close contact with rolling and finishing machine operators to determine and identify the start and finish of each heat and coordinates the changing of tags for each heat directly with the appropriate stacker operator.
- Collect and review for accuracy previous shifts’ production report; calculate tonnage produced and forward copies and original to appropriate personnel or departments.
- Using hand tools and pry bars, remove bent, damaged, and shortened pieces from machines, conveyor system, transfer tables/ beds, and finished bundles.
- Manually stack and band products as directed.
- Detect and report faulty material, environmental hazards, and/ or improper operation of plant equipment or machinery; refer questionable and unusual matters to proper supervision. Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly fashion. Follow all safety regulations and practices.

Job Summary:
The Yard Operator has a variety of duties and a broad skill set that makes this position an important part of operational needs. The Yard Operator requires knowledge of scrap grading, or have the ability to learn. The Yard Operator will assist in several aspects of daily operational needs such as scrap inspection, ferrous and non-ferrous purchasing, mobile equipment operation, and performing general maintenance duties.
The Yard Operator will be expected to safely operate a material handling crane or loader in order to accomplish daily tasks. They must communicate regularly with the scale, supervisor, other coworkers, and customers about the quality of material and shipping requirements.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow all established Gerdau Safety, Environmental, and Routine procedures specific to the yard.
- Work involves a variety of tasks, simple through moderately complex in nature, requiring some care to ensure correct procedures are being followed.
- Ensure that all incoming scrap is scanned for radiation and that all material that fails the scan is quarantined and the appropriate personnel are notified.
- Operate the loader and/or the material handler to assist in loading and unloading scrap material, while following the quality standards of Gerdau and the customer.
- Ensure that all incoming scrap inspected against quality, and environmental standards and appropriate deductions and downgrades are applied. Communicate findings with the scale in a timely manner.
- Inspect and verify scrap for grade and quality. Identify deductions and downgrades.
- Ensure that all outbound materials meets safety and quality standards.
- Perform and document daily Routine Equipment Care (REC).
- Detect and report faulty material, environmental hazards, safety, and/or improper operation of plant equipment or machinery; refer questionable and unusual matters to proper supervision. Maintain work area and equipment in a clear and orderly fashion.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Promote and practice the core values of Gerdau.
- Participation in daily safety routine.
Locations with Rail:
- For Operations that have rail; shift full and empty cars, operate locomotive, activate switches, couple and uncouple cars, and set brakes or wheel blocks as requested, in accordance with standard operating procedures.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Assist in monthly inventory counts (where applicable)
- Assist maintenance personnel in the performance of equipment repairs as required or directed.
- Operate the Baler Operation.
- Assist in nonferrous processing; including segregation of materials to upgrade products. For example: Copper, Brass, Aluminum, etc.
- Assist co-workers in daily operational duties that are essential to the yard in terms of safety, efficiency, and profitability.
- Stage and remove material for torching with a material handler (where applicable).
- Problem solving input and contributions as required.

Job summary:
Reporting to the location's Supervisor, your focus will be to perform a wide variety of MIG production welding and fabrication at our facility while ensuring production goals are achieved without compromising safety, quality or efficiency. Our ideal candidate will champion a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Our ideal candidate will be able to:
- Work one of the following shifts with a starting hourly rate of $24.03:
- 8 hour shift: Monday - Friday either:
- Days 7:00 am - 3:30 pm
- Afternoons: 3:30 pm - 12:00 am
- 10 hour shift: Monday - Thursday
- Days 6:00 am - 4:30 pm
- Evenings 4:30 pm - 3:00 am

Basic Function:
The Division Accounting Manager is responsible for leading the accounting, financial reporting, and internal control processes for the U.S. Special Steel Division, ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial information in accordance with U.S. GAAP, Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX), and corporate standards.
This role manages the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, serves as the primary accounting liaison with external and internal auditors, and interfaces with corporate accounting teams to support consolidation and multinational reporting requirements. The position works closely with and provides functional guidance to Plant Controllers, ensuring consistent application of accounting policies, internal controls, and reporting standards across all locations. This role also leads the development of accounting staff and drives continuous improvement, standardization, and automation of accounting processes across the division.
Nature and Scope:
The Division Accounting Manager reports to the Operations Strategic Controller and has divisional responsibility for the governance, consistency, and integrity of accounting and financial reporting practices across all U.S. Special Steel locations.
The role establishes and enforces high standards for internal controls, financial accuracy, and compliance, ensuring accounting practices are applied consistently in accordance with U.S. GAAP, Sarbanes‑Oxley requirements, and corporate policies. The position is expected to exercise sound professional judgment in addressing complex accounting matters, resolving issues arising from close or audit activities, and escalating risks as appropriate.
The Division Accounting Manager works in close coordination with Plant Controllers, FP&A, Tax, Internal Audit, and Corporate Accounting, providing functional guidance to promote alignment, standardization, and disciplined execution of accounting practices across the division. The role maintains a strong connection to plant‑level operations, ensuring accounting practices effectively support manufacturing activities, inventory management, cost accuracy, and operational decision‑making. While Plant Controllers retain local operational responsibility, this position ensures divisional governance and adherence to regulatory and corporate standards.
The scope of the role also includes leadership of the corporate accounting team and contribution to cross‑functional initiatives focused on strengthening controls, improving process efficiency through standardization and automation, and enhancing the quality and reliability of financial information.
Principal Accountabilities:
Financial Accounting, Close, and Reporting
- Own and manage the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial records across all locations.
- Review and approve journal entries, account reconciliations, and balance sheet analyses, ensuring appropriate documentation, discipline, and resolution of reconciling items.
- Ensure financial statements and supporting schedules are prepared in accordance with U.S. GAAP, corporate accounting policies, and public‑company reporting standards.
Internal Controls, SOX, and Compliance
- Maintain accountability for the effectiveness of internal controls over financial reporting, ensuring compliance with Sarbanes‑Oxley (SOX) requirements and corporate control standards.
- Coordinate control documentation, testing, and remediation activities with Internal Audit and process owners.

Audit and External Interface

Manufacturing, Costing, and Profitability

- Own and govern product costing methodologies, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and alignment with manufacturing processes and corporate standards.
- Ensure reliable measurement and analysis of product and customer profitability, supporting operational, commercial, and strategic decision‑making.
- Work closely with Plant Controllers to ensure accounting practices accurately reflect manufacturing operations, inventory movements, and cost behavior.
Systems, Data, and Financial Models
- Provide functional ownership and governance over key financial systems and tools supporting accounting, close, costing, and reporting processes, including Plex, Adaptive, SAP, FloQast, BNA, Databricks, and other related ERP, planning, reporting, and data platforms.
- Ensure financial systems, data models, and interfaces support accurate transaction processing, timely close, strong controls, and audit‑ready information.
- Partner with IT, FP&A, and business stakeholders to enhance system usage, data integrity, automation, and analytical capabilities.
Governance, Standardization, and Process Improvement

Basic Qualifications:
Education & Certification
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance from an accredited university required.

Professional Experience

- Prior experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, with strong understanding of inventory, cost accounting, and production‑related financial processes.

About the Role
The Senior Executive Administrative Assistant provides high-level, confidential administrative support to the Vice President of Human Resources. NATURE AND SCOPE:
The Quality Assurance Manager is primarily responsible for ensuring production adherence to customer’s’ specifications and/or accepted standards. Job Summary:
The Yard Operator has a variety of duties and a broad skill set that makes this position an important part of operational needs. The Yard Operator requires knowledge of scrap grading, or have the ability to learn. The Yard Operator will assist in several aspects of daily operational needs such as scrap inspection, ferrous and non-ferrous purchasing, mobile equipment operation, and performing general maintenance duties.
The Yard Operator will be expected to safely operate a material handling crane or loader in order to accomplish daily tasks. They must communicate regularly with the scale, supervisor, other coworkers, and customers about the quality of material and shipping requirements.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow all established Gerdau Safety, Environmental, and Routine procedures specific to the yard.
- Work involves a variety of tasks, simple through moderately complex in nature, requiring some care to ensure correct procedures are being followed.
- Ensure that all incoming scrap is scanned for radiation and that all material that fails the scan is quarantined and the appropriate personnel are notified.
- Operate the loader and/or the material handler to assist in loading and unloading scrap material, while following the quality standards of Gerdau and the customer.
- Ensure that all incoming scrap inspected against quality, and environmental standards and appropriate deductions and downgrades are applied. Communicate findings with the scale in a timely manner.
- Inspect and verify scrap for grade and quality. Identify deductions and downgrades.
- Ensure that all outbound materials meets safety and quality standards.
- Perform and document daily Routine Equipment Care (REC).
- Detect and report faulty material, environmental hazards, safety, and/or improper operation of plant equipment or machinery; refer questionable and unusual matters to proper supervision. Maintain work area and equipment in a clear and orderly fashion.
- Provide excellent customer service.

- Participation in daily safety routine.
Locations with Rail:

Job Summary:
Plan, lay out, and perform all operations pertaining to the installation, maintenance, and repair of a wide variety of complex steel mill equipment used in various departments and related plant facilities. Diagnose and work in many varied and diversified capacities required in highly technical maintenance. Overhaul and repair items as needed, primarily involving special automatic electrical and electronic controls.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform a complex range and wide variety of duties on diversified and complex work, including mechanical, electrical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Use technical electronic diagnostic and computer equipment, along with a variety of precision instruments, to effectively and efficiently diagnose, dismantle, repair, lubricate, and reassemble plant equipment.
- Exercise judgement when troubleshooting AC/DC motor controls, PLC, electrical drives and all high voltage systems up to the site voltage maximum.
- Perform precision shaft and equipment alignment.
- Perform motor circuit analysis including resistance and phase balance.
- Analyze work orders and/or equipment malfunctions to plan troubleshooting procedures and materials required.
- Provide instructions to other Maintenance personnel to reduce production delays related to equipment malfunctions or failures.
- Execute the planning and scheduling of maintenance activities.
- Maintain CMMS records.
- Position, fit, and weld components to assemble structural forms, machinery frames, plant equipment, attachments or accessories, and building parts according to blueprints or knowledge of structural and metal characteristics.
- Utilize various specialty cutting and welding equipment.
- Troubleshoot and service pumps, gearboxes, motors, cranes, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems as needed.
- Repair damaged motors, starters, solenoids, instrument controls, generators, transformers, rectifiers, electronic controls and regulators, and various mill power distribution and equipment control systems.
- Tear down complicated units, repairs or replaces defective parts or wiring, and reassembles.
- Install and wire motors and controls for all steel mill machines, intricate controls with multiple interlocking and safety devices.
- Perform related general maintenance operations such as pipe fitting, ordinary carpentry and masonry, oxyacetylene and arc welding, and machining, as required or assigned in accordance with workload priorities.
- Service the electrical/mechanical aspect of pumps, motors, cranes, and hydraulic and pneumatic systems as needed.
- Maintain specified records of work performed, details of repairs, and materials usage.
- Interpret schematics/blueprints at an advanced level.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Operate mobile equipment to lift and transport materials, including loaders, cranes, man-lifts and forklifts.
- Ensure daily preventative maintenance is performed on vehicles and mobile equipment, which may include fueling, cleaning, and checking/adding fluids as needed.
- Follow all PPE requirements and safety rules and guidelines for all tasks being performed.
- Assist in training of coworkers as needed.
- Maintain communication with coworkers through two-way radio and hand signals.
- Demonstrate ability and willingness to work as part of a self-directed team with limited supervision.
- Maintains work areas and equipment in clean and orderly condition.
- Exhibit engagement in GBS tools and methodology.
- Have basic computer skills, specifically, SAP experience and Microsoft.

Education/Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Verifiable maintenance technical training.
- Understanding of shop mathematics with the use of drawings, specifications, charts, tables, and precision measuring instruments.
- Experience working in an industrial environment in a position containing a routine maintenance component.
- 7 to 10 years of heavy industrial maintenance experience.
- Mastery knowledge of the following maintenance disciplines: AC/DC motors, gearbox mechanics, lubrication principles, welding, cutting torch, NFPA 70E, common maintenance hand tools.
- Advanced knowledge of pump, gearbox, hydraulic system, pneumatic system, stick and tig welding and rigging principles (heavy load calculations).
- Thorough understanding of lubricants (gearbox, couplings, bearings).
- Applicable level 1 PDM training in the following: laser alignment, vibration, IR, MCE, lubrication, and ultrasound.
- Experience creating standard operating procedures.
- Experience with Robotics
- Experience with Failure Analysis and FMEA principles
- Experience using Precision measuring instruments , Dial indicators, micrometers, Thermal imagers.
AAS in industrial maintenance and maintenance reliability certifications are preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to climb stairs, climb ladders, reach, squat, tolerate prolonged standing/walking, balance, bend, operate mobile equipment, crawl, kneel, and push and pull objects.

BASIC FUNCTION:
The Engineer IV will provide technical coordination and support in the operating and capital expense management processes by initiating and running projects using the capital expense (CAPEX) project process, equipment monitoring, stabilization and improvements through;

DIMENSIONS:
This position serves in an advisory or consulting capacity coach to all levels of employees, contractors and plan management. This position will have up to 5 direct reports. The Engineer IV will actively participate in the technical development for Engineer I, Engineer II, Engineer III, and maintenance personal. Responsibilities will include providing assistance and support to all locations within the company. This position has direct responsibility for specific projects with high complexity and values up to $10,000,000. Incumbent will be required to frequently and/or for extended periods of time travel to work on CAPEX projects.
NATURE AND SCOPE:
This position is primarily responsible for developing, refining, and communicating the strategies and engineering information needed to optimize productivity and capital projects while ensuring the efficient and cost effective production of the final product. The Engineer IV shall prepare and/or review all data sheets, diagrams, and flow charts needed for the correct and efficient development of project, capital, and expense plans in order to develop and run capital projects. This will include the need to work in close cooperation with department supervisors and appropriate engineering, maintenance, and operations team members to ensure correct and proper selection, installation, and operation of all related equipment to obtain the desired production, safety, and quality levels as needed. The Engineer IV is responsible for developing engineering information to facilitate departmental requests and needs for cost justification.
Qualifications for this position include a four year college degree in Engineering or Material Science combined with up to 8 to 10 years of industrial experience. The incumbent should be a specialist in at least 1 engineering field as well as have extensive training and experience in project management or construction. Successful candidate must be able to apply engineering fundamentals to the continuous improvement efforts of CAPEX, independently assess bids for both installation and equipment, and maximize the efficiency of the overall department operations.
This position reports directly to the Division Engineering Manager, Regional Engineering Manager, or the Capital Projects Director for assignments. The incumbent will be responsible for the oversight, contribution to, and support of all the trainings and development activities for employees of the location. The incumbent must possess good communication skills, have the ability to articulate ideas, detail oriented, and be comfortable dealing with associates at all levels within the organization. Incumbent will be responsible for the training and development of operational/engineering staff in at least one engineering field of expertise.
The Engineer IV will assist in the preparation and completion of blue prints for additions, installations, and maintenance/repair purposes. This job is responsible for preparing drawings and sketches for modifications of machinery and equipment, and layouts on various systems. The incumbent will assist in checking and verifying specifications and drawings for accuracy on large projects that require design drawings needed in constructing the facility. Must stay abreast of current technologies in order to identify and work to resolve areas where improvement is needed. Successful candidate will have an advanced knowledge of multiple National and State building and construction code requirements. Incumbent must be able to work independently as well in a team environment on process, capital, and equipment related projects for their assigned projects. Incumbent must be proficient in scheduling and/or project management software, and AutoCAD.

Job Description:
- Employees will complete all required regulatory/safety training & will follow all safety rules & requirements including maintaining a clean work area.
- Receives wiring diagrams, drawings, specifications, and instructions covering the scheduled and emergency repair, installation, and inspection work to be done.

- Assembles, installs conduit, inspects, adjusts, repairs, or replaces faulty parts and wiring on all types of electronic devices. Uses test equipment and hand tools to locate and properly repair equipment to ensure it is operating safely, efficiently, and effectively.
- Installs conduit, switches, controls, and fixtures. Assists in the connection of all types of electrical or electronic equipment as required for new equipment installation or replacements.
- Assist in the installation, repair, replacement and maintenance of high voltage switch gear, cables, insulators, bushings, etc.
- Utilize all required computer systems for planning, executing, and reporting
- Certification in fork truck, various overhead cranes, man-lifts (scissor lifts) and other mobile equipment as required in maintenance activities.
- Performs all other plant electrical maintenance as required.

- Works with repair crews as directed.

This position’s primary responsibility is to provide leadership to the procurement team supporting one of Gerdau North America’s business units (GLN Operations). The Procurement Manager will ensure the timely and cost-effective procurement of goods and services to support the production plans of Gerdau throughout the designated procurement region / business division. The Procurement Manager will be responsible for reducing product costs, managing and supporting supplier programs, meeting cost reduction objectives for direct and indirect materials and services, and exceeding internal customer expectations. The incumbent works directly with the Regional and Central Procurement Teams in developing a strategic direction throughout their area in order to improve profitability and manage working capital. These activities include but are not limited to the execution of supplier agreements and purchase orders, management of supplier quality and performance, conducting cost-savings initiatives, and ensuring compliance to established policies and procedures. The incumbent is responsible for the supervision and development of a team of Buyers and other Procurement personnel in order to support the business operations.

NATURE AND SCOPE
:
This position reports to either the Regional Procurement Manager or to the Director of Procurement with dotted-line responsibility to the relevant Business Division leadership. The Procurement Manager is responsible for purchasing goods and materials in a timely, economical, and efficient manner. The Procurement Manager is responsible for the maintenance and execution of the Procurement process to meet commercial, operating, and cost requirements. The incumbent will participate in the development of tactical plans for procurement in direct support of the business unit(s) they support. This involves establishing and maintaining effective relations with the supplier base and the active execution and implementation of national, regional, and local supply contracts. This position oversees and manages the acquisition of materials, services, and equipment within the region, adhering to company standards and established commodity strategies, while ensuring the lowest total cost, desired quality, and required delivery terms.
Qualifications for this position include a four-year degree in Business, Engineering, Economics or related field. Five (5) years of related procurement experience including a minimum of two (2) years in a supervisory role is required. A professional certification in procurement/ supply chain management (C.P.M., CPSM) is preferred. In addition, the incumbent should possess knowledge of contract terms and conditions, purchasing systems (SAP and/or other ERP software), manufacturing operations, and strategic sourcing. Incumbent must be capable of generating and implementing contracts and managing purchase orders relative to all aspects of documenting the negotiations, communications, and accounting, tax, and legal implications of these transactions. Incumbent must have an excellent working knowledge of Manufacturing Processes, Management Systems, Operational Routines and Procedures, and the ability to analyze Technical Drawings and Specifications. The ability to build strong integrated teams while fostering the professional and personal development of team members is an absolute must. The incumbent must be a self-starter with strong skills in team leadership, data analysis, and problem-solving. The ability to lead negotiations and manage communications with Gerdau’s suppliers is required. The incumbent must have the ability to function both effectively and independently as a member of a cross-functional team. High ethical standards, leadership, and a strong work ethic are also key attributes.
The position will require travel to complete job duties and maintain effective relationships with suppliers, mill personnel, and regional & central Procurement, 10 – 20%.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITES
:
- Maintain a current and thorough knowledge of appropriate local and regional markets and competitive practices.
- Serve as a liaison with the supplier community. They will establish and maintain effective supplier and market relationships to accomplish this goal. Responsibilities include settlement of discrepancies within management guidelines, maintaining standards, and coordinating ongoing supply chain activities within their business division scope. The incumbent also monitors and maintains continuity of supply and on time delivery, as well as the physical, safety-related and environmental aspects of materials purchased.
- Collaborate with other members of the procurement team to develop the purchasing process and to achieve best possible cost, quality, reliability, continuity and delivery relative to the Total Cost of Ownership. The incumbent will review and assess vendor capabilities and past performance. The incumbent will execute purchase orders and contracts in compliance with company policy and guidelines, and will assure vendor performance.
- Provide information to central management, plant management, and internal customers to help control costs and identify savings opportunities in the procurement of goods and services.
- Maintain a solid working knowledge of the Steel Making Process, Procurement Systems, and Operational Routines and Procedures. Will assist in the development and contribute to the achievement of process goals (KPI’s). This position is a critical element in the development and execution of the Annual Action Plan and the administration of established policies, procedures, and processes.
- Oversee the acquisition of capital equipment and ensure that services are carried out according to technical specifications and meeting internal customer needs. Additional responsibilities within CapEx acquisitions will include the effective management of milestone payments; monitoring and expediting equipment manufacturing and construction timelines, and monitoring of the contractual obligations between the supplier and Gerdau. The incumbent must have a working knowledge of foreign trade and INCOTERMS as well as contractual terms and conditions related to the purchase of indirect and direct materials and services.
- Resolve discrepancies primarily pertaining to specifications, weight settlement, order requirements, invoice payment and other disputes with suppliers and mill personnel, within established policies. Issues must be resolved professionally to maintain sound and effective relationships with Gerdau’s suppliers and internal customers.
- Maintain proficiency in procurement systems, with proficiency in company information systems and other business applications.
- Standardize and continuously improve the procurement process according to Gerdau’s Procurement Policies and Procedures. Incumbent will be accountable for individual, team and departmental attainment of established Key Performance Indicators directly related to the procurement process.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering with 5 years manufacturing experience programming PLC's.
- Strong knowledge of AC/DC controls and motors and drives.

NATURE AND SCOPE:
Primary responsibility: Lead and/or contribute (to) successful execution of improvement projects and successful implementation/execution/sustainability of best EAF based steelmaking practices within the high-end SBQ (Special Bar Quality) context.
The Process Manager – SBQ Steelmaking is responsible for ensuring the stability, quality, and efficiency of processes, from melting through continuous casting.
Leading the reduction of operational variability, continuous improvement, and process stability, in alignment with Operational Excellence principles. Is responsible for the technical interface between Production, Quality, and Maintenance and for the technical development of teams, aiming to achieve the best results in cost, operational performance, and quality.
This position reports directly to the Melt Shop Superintendent.
MAIN AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY:
1. Scrap Yard (SY): Provide technical support for and ensure proper execution on scrap mix optimization practices with the objective of minimizing total bloom cost.
2. Electric Arc Furnace (EAF): Provide technical support on EAF melting and refining practices aiming at consistent liquid steel delivery to the TLF (Twin Ladle Furnace) and reduction of EAF tap-to-tap time.
3. Twin Ladle Furnace (TLF): Provide technical support on implementation, execution, and sustainability of best secondary metallurgy practices within the high-end SBQ context. Minimization of TLF processing cycle times and release steel temperature optimization are current main challenges in the TLF area.
4. Vacuum Tank Degasser (VTD): Provide technical support on implementation, execution, and sustainability of best degassing practices within the high-end SBQ context. Release steel temperatures and Melt Shop production flow are the current main challenges in the VTD area.
5. Continuous Caster (CC): Provide technical support on implementation, execution, and sustainability of best bloom continuous casting practices within the high-end SBQ context. Caster utilization maximization and ladle non-free opens are the main current challenges in the CC area.
6. Refractory (REF): Provide technical support on implementation, execution, and sustainability of best EAF, Ladle and Tundish refractory practices within the SBQ context. Standardization and workforce maturity are the current main challenges in the REF area.
7. Melt Shop Utility Areas: required working knowledge of electrical power supply network, water systems, dedusting systems, industrial gas supply lines, bulk material handling, and others.
8. Provide technical advice to leaders on meeting targets aligned with strategic plans.
9. Provide technical advice to leaders on the identification, definition and acquisition of new technologies, as well as coordinate studies of technical and economic feasibility, aiming at the implementation and improvement of processes.
10. Contribute to the development of the knowledge and skills of the employees by supporting leaders in the development of Technical Training Plans, as well as to provide training when necessary.

Job Summary
The Production Labourer (Utility Person) works primarily in the finishing end area of the Gerdau Rolling Mill. This person is responsible for ensuring quality steel bars are prepared and packaged to meet our customers’ needs.
Job Duties
• Handle, sort, stack and bundle finished products and scrap materials
• Inspect finished bar product during continuous processing
• Tag and inventory finished product using automated weighing and piece count systems
• Assist Machine Operators in equipment set-up and aid in troubleshooting
• Clean machines and immediate work areas
• Operate overhead cranes and forklift
• Communicate clearly over 2-way radio with Machine Operators

What You’ll Do
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and electronic controls and systems, using required knowledge and understanding of mechanical, fluidic, and electrical systems/components, as well as how they operate.
- Perform rounds and check machinery to identify abnormalities and ensure that machine functions are operating within the normal specifications.
- Exercise judgement when troubleshooting AC/DC motor controls, PLC, electrical drives, and all high-voltage systems at or below 480 volts.
- Inspect and perform daily maintenance on all shop machinery, mobile equipment, PLC networks, and cranes, and repairs or replaces worn items as required.
- Service the electrical aspect of pumps, motors, cranes, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems as needed.
- Lay out, install, and maintain a variety of complete electronically-controlled equipment, such as rolling mill loop controls, secondary distribution centers, programmable sequences, and pulpit control panel.
- Balance loads and wire complex circuits.
- Work with related diagnostic equipment including digital voltmeter, paper recorder, multi-volt meter, oscilloscope, and other electronic tools and equipment.
- Maintain specified records of work performed, details of repairs, and materials usage.
- Interpret schematics and blueprints at an intermediate level.
- Provide technical assistance to maintenance and production personnel as needed.
Qualifications
- Completion of Ramsey Electrical exam.
- 3–5 years of heavy industrial electrical maintenance experience.
- Knowledge of AC/DC motor theory, PLC troubleshooting, and high-voltage systems.
- Ability to read schematics and use electrical maintenance tools.
- Ability to work Dupont 4/3 schedule with 12hr rotating shifts: days, nights, and two consecutive weekends. Out of 28 days will work only 14 days providing work life balance.

GENERAL SUMMARY
The Business Analyst II with Manufacturing focus serves as a subject matter expert for technology on industrial operations, product quality and EHS (Environmental, Health and Safety). This job’s key function is to perform data analysis to provide insights and recommendations to support Gerdau’s marketing and sales processes and practices The role should also continually develop and manage action plans, often acting as a lead to coordinate projects and improvements. You have:
- High school diploma or GED is preferred.
- Must have a current/valid Class A CDL; Tanker and HazMat endorsement(s) is plus.

Work involves a complete range of duties, somewhat repetitive and routine in nature, requiring considerable care to drive tractor/trailer vehicle in a correct and safe manner, properly loading of trucks, and compliance with all DOT laws, rules, and regulations.
- Good working conditions in closed truck cab free from weather elements except in occasional unloading. Subject to some noise, vibration, and fumes, but none to the extent of being disagreeable.
- Make deliveries and/or pick-ups, operating from verbal, written or electronic instructions, invoices, bills of lading, shipping tickets, etc.
- Keep accurate and legible records such as Driver’s Trip Reports, Driver’s Daily Log, Vehicle Inspection Report, and Driver’s Weekly Expense Report.

- Continuous mental and visual attention in coordinating a good degree of manual dexterity with close visual attention for sustained periods.

Job Summary:
This is a summer student position; applicants must be enrolled in a post-secondary institution. The student labourer is an entry level position, reflecting employees with no previous knowledge or experience related to scrap metals and recycling. The labourer must have the ability to learn and have a strong work ethic. Job Summary:
This position monitors and assists in controlling incoming and outgoing vehicles, shipments and containers through use scale and software systems. All activity must be accounted for and accurately documented on scale tickets, bills of lading, purchase orders and packing slips, etc.
Nature and Scope:
Directly reporting to the Division Manager, the Scale Operator must regularly communicate with dispatch personnel and other scale operators to assist with company vehicle traffic and all incoming and outgoing yard traffic. This position interacts frequently with yard operations including but not limited to emergency contact for yard operations, material receiving personnel, internal and external drivers as well as management, sales and I.T. personnel.
Principal Accountabilities:
- Enthusiastic greeting of customers and ascertain material grade including all necessary paperwork needed to safely direct all incoming loads to the proper locations throughout the facility.
- Ensure accurate documentation of all inbound and outbound scale transactions by weighing of all customers vehicles, carriers, and company vehicles on main scale. Record supplier, truck or car identification, contract number (if appropriate), description and grade of material, gross, tare and net weights, and discharge location of the load. This includes accurate recording of load deductions (non-conforming material), re-pricing as directed by Buyers, printing and distributing scale tickets as required.
- Maintain daily records of all purchases and sales transactions including proper assignment of purchase and sales order numbers to inbound and outbound material.
- Process scale payments including processing payment adjustments; contact the Buyer to adjust or add in contracts; remove temporary pricing, address and mail out payments as per customer request, fax scale tickets to customers as per their request.
- Create issue and submit cheques to the proper signing authority with proper back up documentation and distribute as requested.
- Issue cash payments for customers that require immediate payment.
- Must be able to manage difficult customer situations effectively and professionally.
- Answer main telephone line and redirect all calls accordingly.
- Constantly maintain radio contact with the appropriate yard personnel including and being aware of Emergency calls and proper handling of different types of situations.
- Maintain and implement safe work procedures while ensuring all guests have been informed of and adhere to proper PPE requirements.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Analyzes all types of circuits, wiring diagrams and drawings as required to install, repair, adjust, calibrate, construct, modify or service all types of electrical and electronic devices and systems, to include communication systems, various mill and production equipment, electronic computing and control systems, power and distribution control indicating devices, gauges, instrumentation, etc.

- Programmable logic controllers - read schematics and use PLC indication lights to determine which I/O is present. Measure 4-20mA(+-10V) transmitter loops to determine I/O status.
- Communication – install new communication systems. Make field repairs to existing systems. Run and hook up communication cabling (Profibus, ControlNet, RS232, R-Net, Dec-Net, Ether-Net, PLC remote drops, etc.).
- Scales – responsible for all plant weigh scale systems including installation and maintenance.
- Document all work performed on Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS.)

Job Summary:

The Product Metallurgist I provides technical leadership and metallurgical support for the Melt Shop, Rolling Mill, and Logistics operations. Role Overview
Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, the Product Metallurgist is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and implementing product and process improvement opportunities. This includes planning and supervising product trials, conducting metallurgical evaluations, supporting customer inquiries, and ensuring compliance with quality standards and procedures.
The role also supports the Quality Assurance program through document control, calibration management, internal audits, corrective actions, and data preparation for Management Review. The Metallurgist will collaborate closely with operations, maintenance, and quality teams to ensure safe, efficient, and consistent production.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate customer requirements and ensure alignment with mill capabilities.
Conduct metallurgical investigations, including root‑cause and failure analyses.
Lead product trials and report findings to operations and leadership.

Review and maintain procedures, specifications, job aids, and SAP SKU configurations.
Analyze production data to monitor performance and recommend improvements.

Qualifications

BASIC FUNCTION:
This position is primarily responsible for the preparation and maintenance of the Company’s financial system, including preparing consolidated financial statements for monthly financial and managerial reporting, and providing financial information to the parent company (Gerdau, S.A.) on a timely basis. This position will also reconcile general ledger accounts, prepare audit schedules, and financial and managerial analysis. This position will be heavily involved with the month end close of the company. This position will have to research technical accounting topics when required by management.
The incumbent will be involved in several projects and would work without close supervision, somewhat independently toward achieving specific project goals.
NATURE AND SCOPE:
This position reports directly to the Corporate Accounting Manager.
This position works closely with the Operating Division Controllers and Accountants who manage the accounting function of the location operations and accounting personnel.
The qualifications for this position would include 3-5 years of progressive accounting responsibilities in a multi-divisional manufacturing organization preferably in a corporate environment; excellent communication skills; proficient in multi-currency accounting and foreign exchange reporting; adept with business office software and accounting systems. Must possess a bachelor’s or master’s Degree with major in accounting or finance. SAP experience and CPA license are preferred.
This position assists the Corporate Accounting Manager in the accounting functions of the Corporate Office. These functions include, but are not limited to, the month-end closing of ledgers for the organization, conducting controls testing for Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and internal audit, assisting with the preparation of external audit requests, general ledger account reconciliations, analysis and review, management reporting, journal entries, and reviews for the closing of month-end. The incumbent must exercise independent judgment when there are problems in results before presentation to the Corporate Accounting Manager and have the proven ability to diagnose technical issues while partnering across departments to deliver solutions.

Your Work:
- Operate standard factory-equipped diesel straight truck and tractor with roll-off trailers, dump trailers and van trailers to pick-up a variety of steel products and accessory items from Gerdau steel suppliers.
- Follow standard or prescribed methods or procedures. Work involves a complete range of duties, somewhat repetitive and routine in nature, requiring considerable care to drive tractor/trailer vehicle in a correct and safe manner, properly loading of trucks, and compliance with all DOT laws, rules, and regulations.
- Good working conditions in closed truck cab free from weather elements except in occasional unloading. Subject to some noise, vibration, and fumes, but none to the extent of being disagreeable.
- Make deliveries and/or pick-ups, operating from verbal, written or electronic instructions, invoices, bills of lading, shipping tickets, etc.
- Keep accurate and legible records such as Driver’s Trip Reports, Driver’s Daily Log, Vehicle Inspection Report, and Driver’s Weekly Expense Report.
- Maintain polite, courteous, and diplomatic relations with either customers, receivers, or suppliers with whom contact is made. May be required to contact the supplier for location/placement of roll-off bin.
- Assist loading or unloading; unload without help as necessary; tie down the load with chains or cinches; attach markers for overhang.
- Light physical effort consisting of continuous light exertion in driving, frequent effort in tying down the loads, and assisting unloading.
- Continuous mental and visual attention in coordinating a good degree of manual dexterity with close visual attention for sustained periods.
- Clean vehicle on a regular basis.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this position's main focus will be to inspect, repair, replace, install, adjust and maintain mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
Hourly Rate: $42.98/ hour plus COLA (cost of living allowance). Overtime available.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receives instructions covering the scheduled and emergency repairs, installation and inspection work to be done
- Inspects equipment for defects such as misalignment, wear, insufficient lubrication
- Finds the best way of making repairs to minimize interruption of production
- Advises when immediate shut down of equipment is necessary to minimize damage or when temporary continued operation would have no harmful effect
- Trouble shoots and repairs hydraulic and pneumatic systems and equipment
- Assembles or aligns gears, bearings and shafts involving the application of press, sliding and running fits
- Changes, sets up and adjusts equipment as required by current operating conditions
- Interprets drawings and sketches
- Dismantles, cleans repairs, replaces, installs, maintains, assembles, and lubricates mechanical equipment
- Performs routine layout work, fabrication or repair of steel structures and components
- Selects material in accordance with suitability for job and performs burning and mild steel welding
- Operates simple machine tools such as drill press, pipe threading machine and power saw
- Erects scaffolds and performs rigging as necessary
- Prepares for workorders, records activities in CMMS
Our Successful Candidate will have:
- A Red Seal Certification or Provincial Millwright Journeyman Certificate
- Experience in heavy industry
- Exposure to PM, Hydraulics, VF drives, PLC's, welding, crane work
- Experience preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work a rotating schedule (continental style schedule) 12 hour shifts as well an 8 hour day shift (Monday - Friday)
- Strong communication and work ethic, ability to work in a team and with other trades
- Basic computer experience

Gerdau is currently seeking a Labourer for the Winnipeg Recycling yard location.
Responsibilities include:
A variety of physical labour tasks and activites at various work stations throughout the worksite which includes working a forklift and skidsteer:
- Primary focus is customer oriented; greeting customers, documenting purchases, determining grades of scrap
- Working with other yard personnel to facilitate accurate stock piling
- Weigh materials and process for sale and shipping
- Safety minded at all tasks
- General yard housekeeping duties
The ideal candidate:
- Will be able to work day shift (Monday - Friday 8:00am - 4:30pm). Schedule may change.

Qualifications:
