Your Purpose:
You will be performing a variety of maintenance and repair tasks necessary to keep the plant property, equipment, machinery and tools in good operating condition; diagnose problems and work in many varied and diversified capacities required in general maintenance, overhaul, and repair of plant equipment, processes, and facilities. Requires a general knowledge of electronics and electrical systems to include basic electrical repairs as needed or directed. Plan and schedule plant and equipment maintenance activities to minimize disruption to plant production and material handling activities with some supervision and direction provided by the Plant Manager. Your Work:
- Work involves diversified duties, highly variable, requiring considerable care and judgment to effectively and efficiently diagnose, dismantle, repair, lubricate, reassemble, or otherwise perform general maintenance activities to include pipefitter, welder, Fabricating millwright, assembler, carpenter, plumber, and installer skills and abilities. - Implement and maintain the division’s preventive maintenance program with input from plant manager and manufacturer’s recommendations. - Maintain and control plant inventory levels for maintenance parts and supplies. Order parts and supplies in accordance with supervisor approval.
- Train lesser-skilled maintenance personnel on proper work methods and safety procedures when assisting with maintenance activities.
- Maintain plant equipment and maintenance records to meet Gerdau and OSHA’s safety and quality compliance standards.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
The Raw Materials Purchasing Agent is primarily responsible for the procurement of retail scrap in an economical and efficient manner and establishing and maintaining effective relations with available suppliers including active solicitation of new supply sources, within assigned region. The supplier base will include both established retail processors as well as suppliers whose business is conducted on a direct basis at the retail buying facilities as established at Gerdau mill divisions. This position will support commercial practices based on established policies to ensure fair, ethical, and productive relationships with suppliers. It does require travel to complete job duties and maintain an effective network of vendors, mill personnel, and industry organizations.
The Raw Materials Purchasing Agent will coordinate activities with other procurement personnel, transportation, melt shop management, and mill scrap inspection and accounting personnel. This role works closely with transportation to keep them informed of new methods of shipment and carriers that may help minimize overall scrap costs. The incumbent will also keep plant and corporate management abreast of changing market conditions. The incumbent will engage and utilize a network of sources to understand market activity and determine the needs of the mill/s supplied
Another key responsibility will be to provide information to other members of the raw materials procurement team. This will be achieved through soliciting and reviewing competitive alternatives, assess vendor capabilities and past performance, recommend alternative sources for retail scrap, and select suppliers based on information gathered. The incumbent will secure retail scrap based on the specific terms of purchase contracts within established policies and procedures, verify purchase order details, and document vendor performance.
This position also serves as a liaison between mill personnel and scrap suppliers. The incumbent must be familiar with basic melting requirements at the mill in order to know the effect of different grades of scrap, relative to billet chemistry specifications. Raw Materials Purchasing Agent will work closely with vendors, shippers, and inspection personnel to educate and communicate specifications, commercial terms/conditions, and safety and environmental compliance requirements . Raw Materials Purchasing Agent will use the computer systems and procedures to receive, handle and pay for scrap throughout the Company and assist in resolving any problems that may arise with vendors.
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS DO YOU NEED?
- A minimum of three to five years’ experience in the buying, melting, or receiving of steel scrap or similar work experience at an exempt level.
- Must be a self-starter with the ability to initiate business and possess strong negotiating, communication, math and problem-solving skills.
- High ethical standards and a strong work ethic are key attributes required.
- Possess knowledge of sources and grades of raw materials, along with some knowledge of transportation issues and scrap yard operations.
- Computer literate in procurement systems and MS Office.
- Knowledge of the effect different grades of steel on billet chemistry specifications.
- Excellent written and verbal communications to communicate effectively across all lines of the business.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this position's main focus will be to inspect, repair, replace, install, adjust and maintain mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
Hourly Rate: $41.31 / hour plus COLA (cost of living allowance). Overtime available.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receives instructions covering the scheduled and emergency repairs, installation and inspection work to be done.
- Inspects equipment for defects such as misalignment, wear, insufficient lubrication.
- Finds the best way of making repairs to minimize interruption of production.
- Advises when immediate shut down of equipment is necessary to minimize damage or when temporary continued operation would have no harmful effect.
- Trouble shoots and repairs hydraulic and pneumatic systems and equipment.
- Assembles or aligns gears, bearings and shafts involving the application of press, sliding and running fits.
- Changes, sets up and adjusts equipment as required by current operating conditions.
- Interprets drawings and sketches.

- Performs routine layout work, fabrication or repair of steel structures and components.

Job Description:

Our Ideal Candidate will:
- Receive instructions and drawings regarding shop and fieldwork orders for the job
- Interpret drawings and sketches, plans working procedures and determines the materials, tools and equipment required
- Handle and /or make arrangements for the handling of the materials, tools and equipment to and from the job site in shop or field
- Lay out work, makes sketches and determines stock sizes as required

Plant Operations:
The Regional Energy Manager (REM) supplies energy for several mills within a broad geographical region and serves as a resource for plant management for energy forecasts, communication, and collaboration regarding commercial aspects of energy supply. The successful candidate will:

Basic Function:
Reliability Engineer will provide technical coordination and support for implementing and sustaining Asset Reliability Processes (ARP) to improve safety, equipment reliability, and product quality at optimum efficiency and costs by:
- Detect potential failures using predictive technologies.

- Study operations and failures to lower costs and improve equipment reliability and energy efficiency.

This individual will support the digital analytics program by tracking, measuring, analyzing and reporting insights related to customer journey and into the company's online performance and opportunities. The Analyst will plan and manage the backlog and deliverables of the Customer Insights team and support data science project related to optimizing, estimation and ML. The Data Analyst will be responsible for Customer Insights Power BI reports and workspace (development, testing, timely refresh, quality of the reports and best practices), regression/statistical modeling and predictive capabilities (development and routine analysis). Bases on analysis and insights the Data Analyst will recommend specific actions to drive business objectives.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Data Analyst will perform these duties with minimal management validation:
- Lead the Team: Provide guidance to the team, manage day to day tasks and facilitate collaboration.
- Data Planning: Coordinate with the Commercial digital team to support the data process mapping for new features and/or business processes. Plan data flows, data collection, KPIs and ROI for new solutions.
- Data Collection and Integration: Collect and compile data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Ensure the accuracy and integrity of sales data through regular validation and reconciliation. Work with IT and data engineering teams to integrate and transform data from various sources for effective reporting.
- Data Analysis: Perform basic and advance data analysis using statistical methods and data visualization tools. Conduct in-depth analysis of business data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for improvement. Conduct ad-hoc analysis as needed to support strategic initiatives and decision-making.
- Power BI Development: Design and develop interactive and visually appealing Power BI reports and dashboards that effectively communicate key insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Requirements Gathering and Backlog Planning: Work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements of the new digital tools/features and translate these into technical backlog requirements for the team.
- Manage Backlog and Test Solution: Plan and prioritize deliverables for all team members, manage cross teams’ dependencies. Test data solutions to make sure all the development requirements are met.
- Google Tags: Leverage Google Tools and Tag Manager to implement analytics, events and custom dimensions to measure success. Plan data collection related to the new features, and update existing mapping. Work with IT to implement.
- Report Optimization: Identify and implement improvements to enhance the performance and efficiency of Power BI reports.
- Documentation: Document data analysis processes, methodologies, and findings for future reference.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to sales teams on utilizing and interpreting sales reports.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on Power BI features, best practices, and industry trends to enhance reporting capabilities.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in data science, data analysis, business, finance or a related area.
- + 5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, marketing analytics or related analytical roles preferred.
- Experience in a wide variety of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies, using standard databases and analytical software.
- Analytical mindset with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Analytically focused and have proven experience developing action plans based on their own analysis.
- Strong understanding of data modeling and data visualization best practices.
- Ideally experience in data science projects.
- Proficiency in SQL, python is a plus.
- Expertise in creating complex Power BI reports and dashboards.
- Preferred working knowledge of tools and solutions such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Big Query and Databricks, Datadog.
- Familiarity with A/B testing methodology & solid foundation in statistics.
- Preferred basic experience in SAP.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in planning and performing data analysis projects and processes from start to finish.
- Time management, critical thinking and problem-solving skills are required.
- Strong organizational skills, customer focus, work creatively and analytically to solve day-in and day-out problems.
- Requires proven ability to establish and maintain strong, positive relationships with commercial and operations teams.
- Prior knowledge and experience in manufacturing, steel or steel using industries preferred.
The Data Analyst may be required to travel approximately four times per year to visit customers, mills, seminars, trainings and/or attend trade shows and trade association meetings.

Responsible for the installation and repair of wire electronics and electrical plant equipment. Ability to read and work with wiring diagrams, drawings and use of electrical and electronic tools, gauges, calibrating and testing equipment, hand tools, drill press, grinder, bench lathe, electric drills, power hack saw, wire stripper, pipe threading machine, acetylene torch, soldering iron, safety devices.

Job Responsibilities:
- Receives wiring diagrams, drawings, specifications and instructions covering the scheduled and emergency repair, installation and inspection work to be done
- Analyzes all types of drawings, wiring diagrams and circuits required to test, repair, adjust and service all types of electronic and electrical equipment, electronic and electrical control systems and their components, on production and auxiliary equipment, indicating devices, gauges, etc.
- Plans details of working procedure to determine material or replacement needs and selects a logical approach to “trouble shooting” and repair problems. Answers trouble calls. Considers all safety precautions and proper isolations of circuits to cause a minimum of interference to operations.
- Plans and performs work requiring a thorough knowledge of electrical and electronic principles, wiring specification codes, properties of various materials, and principles of operation and application of equipment
- Works in close proximity to high voltage equipment. Works circuits hot up to and including 550 V
- Makes recommendations for charges and / or modifications in equipment
- Makes sketches and drawings for control circuit wiring, resistance diagrams
- Tests and maintains meters and equipment and similar types of equipment for operating departments
- Obtains information for maintaining spare parts inventory from blue prints, sales catalogue, engineering data, and by conducting field investigations

WHAT THE POSITION ENTAILS:
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this position’s job responsibilities include:
- Troubleshoot AC/DC motors, controls, PLC, electrical drives, low/medium/high voltage systems.
- Service the electrical aspect of pumps, motors, cranes, and hydraulic/pneumatic systems.
- Receive instructions, prints or work orders, covering scheduled and emergency repairs, installation, and inspection work to be done.
- Maintain specified records of work performed, details of repairs, and materials usage on computerized maintenance management software (CMMS), work orders, logbooks, and checklists.
- Perform rounds and checks machinery condition using checklists or digital tools to identify abnormalities and ensure that machine functions are operating within the normal specifications.
