Qualifications Required:
- Successful completion of Ramsey mechanical maintenance test.
- A minimum of 3-5 years of heavy machinery maintenance experience in an industrial setting.
- Advanced knowledge of maintaining AC/DC motors, gearbox mechanics, lubrication principles, welding, cutting torch, NFPA 70E and common maintenance tools.
- Intermediate knowledge of pumps, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, stick and tig welding and rigging principles.

Your Purpose:
Your most important responsibility will be to keep our mills running and your coworkers safe. You will perform maintenance and repair operations necessary to keep the mill, equipment, machinery, and tools in good operating conditions; working in the many and diversified capacities required in maintenance.
Your Role:
- You will have a variety of complex duties requiring considerable care to effectively and efficiently dismantle, repair, lubricate, reassemble, as wells as general maintenance in varied capacities.
- You will start, observe, and operate equipment to detect or verify the malfunction and see if it should be repaired or replaced.
- You will conduct preventive maintenance through inspecting, adjusting feed, speed power input and output, cleaning, and lubricating equipment.
- You will tear down, replace, repair, install, and assemble equipment, parts, components, and accessories.
- You will detect and report faulty material, environmental hazards, and/ or improper operation of mill equipment or machinery.

Gerdau is looking for an experienced Electrician to undertake a variety of tasks related to the installation, repair, and maintenance of mechanical equipment.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Analyzes all types of circuits, wiring diagrams and drawings as required to install, repair, adjust, calibrate, construct, modify or service all types of electrical and electronic devices and systems, to include communication systems, various mill and production equipment, electronic computing and control systems, power and distribution control indicating devices, gauges, instrumentation, etc.
- Plans details of the work procedure to determine material or replacement needs and selects a logical approach to “troubleshooting” and repair problems. Answers trouble calls.
- Makes sketches of parts and layouts or wiring diagrams.
- Assembles, inspects, adjusts, repairs or replaces faulty parts and wiring on all types of electronic devices. This person will make mechanical and electrical repairs as required in connection with the servicing of electrical and electronic equipment.
- Inspects, dismantles, services, reassembles, tests and adjust equipment for safe and proper operation.
- Performs all other plant electrical maintenance as required.
- Starts up and shuts down various types of plant equipment.
- Inspects, adjusts and repairs all electric brakes including those used on cranes.
- Motor Controls – familiar and able to maintain, troubleshoot, and replace starters and VFD’s or DC drives.
- Programmable logic controllers - read schematics and use PLC indication lights to determine which I/O is present. Measure 4-20mA(+-10V) transmitter loops to determine I/O status.
- Communication – install new communication systems. Make field repairs to existing systems. Run and hook up communication cabling (Profibus, ControlNet, RS232, R-Net, Dec-Net, Ether-Net, PLC remote drops, etc.).
- Scales – responsible for all plant weigh scale systems including installation and maintenance.
- Document all work performed on Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS.)
- Performs preventive maintenance on electrical, instrument, and controls devices and equipment.
- All other tasks assigned by management.
Secondary: - Performs soldering tasks as required in the performance of job responsibilities.
- Observes good housekeeping and safety on the jobsite, electrical rooms and shops.
- Utilization of EMM and GBS concepts.
TRAINING AND/OR BACKGROUND REQUIREMENTS:

Reporting to the General Manager, your responsibility will be primarily for the accuracy and analysis of the division's financial records to support reduction of operational costs.

Job Summary:
Performs a variety of repetitive electrical maintenance duties necessary to install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment needed for the production of finished products, which requires an advanced understanding of control circuits, DC and AC drives, overhead cranes, electronics, test equipment, and electrical codes, as well as the ability to program PLC. Operates various electrical monitors and meters, hand tools, oscilloscope, and thermos energy camera. Serves as the Electrical Maintenance Team Lead by providing direction to the Electrician, which includes training, providing daily direction/work orders, and checking work. Works directly with vendors when ordering parts. Receives general supervision with general instructions for assigned tasks from the Plant Superintendent.
This position is deemed safety-sensitive based on the job duties detailed below and the nature of the work environment. Therefore, any impairment caused by drug, alcohol, or cannabis usage could threaten the health or safety of any person.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Work involves routine tasks requiring the safe operation of electrical monitors and meters, hand tools, oscilloscope, and thermos energy camera to safely and effectively install, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment, including instrumentation and electronic boards for Ajax converters.
- Receives direction in the form of wiring diagrams, drawings, specifications, and/or instructions covering the scheduled and emergency repair, installation, and inspection of work to be done from Plant Superintendent.
- Performs PLC programming.

Product Metallurgist
The Product Metallurgist I provides technical leadership and metallurgical support for the Melt Shop, Rolling Mill, and Logistics operations. This role ensures that products meet customer requirements, supports continuous improvement initiatives, and strengthens the mill’s quality systems and metallurgical capabilities.
Role Overview
Reporting to the Quality Assurance Manager, the Product Metallurgist is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and implementing product and process improvement opportunities. This includes planning and supervising product trials, conducting metallurgical evaluations, supporting customer inquiries, and ensuring compliance with quality standards and procedures.
The role also supports the Quality Assurance program through document control, calibration management, internal audits, corrective actions, and data preparation for Management Review. The Metallurgist will collaborate closely with operations, maintenance, and quality teams to ensure safe, efficient, and consistent production.
Key Responsibilities
Evaluate customer requirements and ensure alignment with mill capabilities.
Conduct metallurgical investigations, including root‑cause and failure analyses.
Lead product trials and report findings to operations and leadership.
Support customer visits, technical reviews, and product performance evaluations.
Review and maintain procedures, specifications, job aids, and SAP SKU configurations.
Analyze production data to monitor performance and recommend improvements.
Provide technical support to operations during routine production and problem‑solving.
Assist with cost‑justification efforts for equipment or process changes.
Stay current with industry technologies and share best practices across the organization.
Support quality system requirements including audits, calibrations, and corrective actions.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical Engineering, Materials Science, or related Engineering field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a steelmaking or heavy manufacturing environment preferred.
Working knowledge of steelmaking, refining, casting, and/or rolling processes.
Ability to apply metallurgical principles to improve product quality and process efficiency.
Strong communication skills for customer interaction and internal reporting.
Ability to interpret and analyze production data and metallurgical results.
Willingness to travel as needed to support customer and technical requirements.

Responsible for the installation and repair of wire electronics and electrical plant equipment. Ability to read and work with wiring diagrams, drawings and use of electrical and electronic tools, gauges, calibrating and testing equipment, hand tools, drill press, grinder, bench lathe, electric drills, power hack saw, wire stripper, pipe threading machine, acetylene torch, soldering iron, safety devices.

Job Responsibilities:
- Receives wiring diagrams, drawings, specifications and instructions covering the scheduled and emergency repair, installation and inspection work to be done
- Analyzes all types of drawings, wiring diagrams and circuits required to test, repair, adjust and service all types of electronic and electrical equipment, electronic and electrical control systems and their components, on production and auxiliary equipment, indicating devices, gauges, etc.

- Works in close proximity to high voltage equipment. Works circuits hot up to and including 550 V
- Makes recommendations for charges and / or modifications in equipment
- Makes sketches and drawings for control circuit wiring, resistance diagrams
- Tests and maintains meters and equipment and similar types of equipment for operating departments
- Obtains information for maintaining spare parts inventory from blue prints, sales catalogue, engineering data, and by conducting field investigations
- Performs related work as assigned
- Observes all Safety Rules
Our Ideal Candidate will have:
- Red Seal Certification or Provincial Electrician Journeyman Certificate

This position is primarily responsible for the preparation and maintenance of the Company’s financial system, including preparing consolidated financial statements for monthly financial and managerial reporting, and providing financial information to the parent company (Gerdau, S.A.) on a timely basis. This position will also reconcile general ledger accounts, prepare audit schedules, and financial and managerial analysis. This position will be heavily involved with the month end close of the company. This position will have to research technical accounting topics when required by management.
The incumbent will be involved in several projects and would work without close supervision, somewhat independently toward achieving specific project goals.
NATURE AND SCOPE:
This position reports directly to the Corporate Accounting Manager.
This position works closely with the Operating Division Controllers and Accountants who manage the accounting function of the location operations and accounting personnel.
The qualifications for this position would include 3-5 years of progressive accounting responsibilities in a multi-divisional manufacturing organization preferably in a corporate environment; excellent communication skills; proficient in multi-currency accounting and foreign exchange reporting; adept with business office software and accounting systems. Must possess a bachelor’s or master’s Degree with major in accounting or finance. SAP experience and CPA license are preferred.
This position assists the Corporate Accounting Manager in the accounting functions of the Corporate Office. These functions include, but are not limited to, the month-end closing of ledgers for the organization, conducting controls testing for Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and internal audit, assisting with the preparation of external audit requests, general ledger account reconciliations, analysis and review, management reporting, journal entries, and reviews for the closing of month-end. The incumbent must exercise independent judgment when there are problems in results before presentation to the Corporate Accounting Manager and have the proven ability to diagnose technical issues while partnering across departments to deliver solutions.
The successful candidate will join a team committed to manufacturing excellence, continuous improvement and team member development. This person will enjoy developing solid business relationships with their counterparts in various other departments including but not limited to Operations, Logistics, Procurement, IT, and Planning. This position will play a key role in providing impartial financial analysis and guidance, decision support, and development of financial acumen across the organization.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Assists in monthly closing and financial reporting by preparing routine and complex journal entries, consolidation of the various legal entities, and the review of journal entries prepared by accountants and generated by the system for accuracy and reasonableness.
- Monthly internal financial reporting, primarily the monthly Financial Report (which includes monthly financial and managerial information) for management.
- Contributes to the preparation of the quarterly Financial Statements and the annual footnote support for Gerdau, S.A. (parent company).
- Use and maintain the ERP (SAP) system, which is used to prepare the financial statements, various footnotes, managerial reports, and to investigate errors and variances.
- Conduct internal audit control self-assessment reviews and assist with SOX-related audit issue resolutions.
- Maintain integrity of balance sheet accounts through review of account activity and balances for accuracy and reasonableness; prepares audit schedules for outside auditors.
- Perform accounting for complex accounting areas, such as stock compensation, pensions and derivatives, etc.
- Perform general accounting duties including maintaining the accounting structure for account hierarchy in the financial statements and the preparation and submission of various governmental financial and managerial reports as required.
- Ad hoc accounting projects as assigned by the Corporate Accounting Manager; requires independence, an inquisitive approach, and project management skills to obtain project objectives.
- Prepares financial analysis as required by management.
- Acts as the liaison between plant and corporate accounting personnel for accounting issues.
- Seeks continual improvements in all accounting processes.
- Stays abreast of current accounting standards, including, but not limited to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and the various authoritative accounting guidance (IFRS Foundation, IASB, FASB, SEC, etc.) to ensure adequate accounting and disclosure of the company’s financial information for internal and external reporting. Ad hoc research and special projects related to a wide range of technical accounting and financial reporting issues are requested as needed.
Job Complexity
This position requires a comprehensive understanding of general and cost accounting principles. Works on problems with a diverse scope where analysis of data requires reconciliation and evaluation of identifiable factors. Requires the exercise of judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques to obtain solutions.
Qualifications

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this position's main focus will be to inspect, repair, replace, install, adjust and maintain mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
Hourly Rate: $42.98/ hour plus COLA (cost of living allowance). Overtime available.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Receives instructions covering the scheduled and emergency repairs, installation and inspection work to be done
- Inspects equipment for defects such as misalignment, wear, insufficient lubrication
- Finds the best way of making repairs to minimize interruption of production
- Advises when immediate shut down of equipment is necessary to minimize damage or when temporary continued operation would have no harmful effect
- Trouble shoots and repairs hydraulic and pneumatic systems and equipment
- Assembles or aligns gears, bearings and shafts involving the application of press, sliding and running fits
- Changes, sets up and adjusts equipment as required by current operating conditions
- Interprets drawings and sketches
- Dismantles, cleans repairs, replaces, installs, maintains, assembles, and lubricates mechanical equipment
- Performs routine layout work, fabrication or repair of steel structures and components
- Selects material in accordance with suitability for job and performs burning and mild steel welding
- Operates simple machine tools such as drill press, pipe threading machine and power saw
- Erects scaffolds and performs rigging as necessary
- Prepares for workorders, records activities in CMMS
Our Successful Candidate will have:
- A Red Seal Certification or Provincial Millwright Journeyman Certificate
- Experience in heavy industry
- Exposure to PM, Hydraulics, VF drives, PLC's, welding, crane work
- Experience preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
- Ability to work a rotating schedule (continental style schedule) 12 hour shifts as well an 8 hour day shift (Monday - Friday)
- Strong communication and work ethic, ability to work in a team and with other trades

Reporting to the Engineer Manager, you will be responsible for both capital project management and engineering design support of improvement and reliability inititatives in all areas of the Steel Mill.
